Ash By Elegance Reflects on Uncertain Future After Vacating TNA Knockouts Title – Ash By Elegance has opened up about her emotional in-ring hiatus and the uncertainty surrounding her wrestling future following her recent medical setback.
The former TNA Knockouts World Champion was profiled in the latest episode of Immersed – Ash By Elegance, part of TNA’s Immersed docuseries. In the feature, Ash spoke candidly about being forced to step away from competition and relinquish her title at TNA Victory Road 2025 due to an undisclosed medical condition.
Ash had captured the Knockouts World Championship in stunning fashion at NXT Heatwave 2025, defeating Jacy Jayne and Masha Slamovich in a triple threat match. However, her reign was cut short before she could fully carry out her plans as champion.
“I’ve had the biggest detour put in my path — that I have to step away from my dream,” Ash said. “I have to forfeit the title. There’s a lot of unknowns. I had so many plans for this title. I wanted to do so much with it. I don’t know. This is the first time in my life, in my wrestling career, that I can say I don’t know.”
Reflecting on the difficult decision to relinquish the championship, Ash admitted that it was the most emotional moment of her career.
“This was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my career — going out there and being vulnerable to the crowd, being vulnerable to myself. And I’m getting emotional now. That’s when I knew TNA was a family and that the locker room was a family,” she said.
“And I’m going to miss that so, so much. I will be front and center so each and every woman can feel what I felt tonight — the love, the support, and the appreciation. And I think I left my legacy in the ring. Like I said, I don’t know what happens from here. But my home is here. My home is in TNA.”
“It feels so weird to take that last step out of those ropes and not have my title. I didn’t know a title could mean so much, but that ring means so much more. The message doesn’t change. I said it at the start, and I’m going to say it now: never give up.”
While her in-ring future remains unclear, Ash By Elegance continues to maintain a presence on TNA television. On the latest episode of TNA iMPACT, she appeared in a pre-taped segment announcing the “Mr. Elegance Contest,” inviting prospective talent to submit audition videos to join The Elegance Brand.
