Seth Rollins Reveals He’ll Miss Six Months After Shoulder Surgery

Seth Rollins Reveals He’ll Miss Six Months After Shoulder Surgery – Seth Rollins has confirmed that he will be sidelined for an extended period after undergoing surgery to repair a shoulder injury suffered earlier this month. The injury occurred during his match at WWE Crown Jewel: Perth on October 11, where he was later forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship.

Appearing on the Halloween episode of NFL Network’s Good Morning Football, Rollins joined the broadcast with his arm in a sling while dressed in a Chicago Bears-themed costume, complete with a Steve “Mongo” McMichael jersey. Known for his humor and energy, Rollins mixed some comedy with an unfortunate update, revealing that he expects to be out of action for six months.

“I wish I could rip this thing off,” Rollins said, referring to his sling. “But I’m out, guy. I’m out of action for six months. My World Championship is going to be worn by some schmuck, either Jey Uso or CM Punk. It’s awful. It really is the Halloween scaries, guys.”

Rollins’ injury has reshaped WWE’s world title picture. Jey Uso and CM Punk are now set to face off at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion. The match was initially supposed to see Punk challenge Rollins, but following Rollins’ surgery, Uso earned the opportunity by winning a battle royal on the October 20 episode of RAW.

WWE wrote Rollins off television in dramatic fashion when his former allies, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, turned on him and attacked him backstage. Once cleared, Rollins will have plenty of unfinished business, both in reclaiming his title and confronting those who betrayed him.

A longtime regular on Good Morning Football and a devoted Chicago Bears fan, Rollins’ spirited personality remains intact—even as he begins his road to recovery.
