NXT Viewership Drops to New Low on CW Network – The October 21 episode of WWE NXT saw a notable decline in viewership, drawing 525,000 viewers on the CW Network. This figure is down from the 690,000 viewers the October 14 episode brought in and marks the lowest audience total since NXT made its move to CW on October 1, 2024.
In the key 18–49 demographic, Tuesday’s broadcast earned a 0.07 rating, down from last week’s 0.12. The 0.07 rating ties the lowest demographic number in the show’s history, reflecting a significant dip in younger viewership.
This week’s competition likely played a role in the drop, as NXT aired opposite the opening night of the NBA season. The night featured the defending NBA Champion Oklahoma City Thunder facing the Houston Rockets, drawing major sports viewership across multiple networks.
The decline comes as Nielsen’s updated measurement methods for television ratings continue to adjust industry trends, impacting how live and delayed viewership is tracked.
Despite the lower numbers, NXT content continued to perform strongly on YouTube, with several clips from the October 21 broadcast pulling solid engagement.
