Netflix have confirmed that John Cena’s final appearance on WWE Raw will be at Madison Square Garden in New York on November 17.
Cena has four dates remaining on his farewell tour, kicking off with an appearance on Raw in Boston seven days earlier.
He has also been booked for the Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29, before bringing the curtain down on his wrestling career in Washington on December 13.
Cena’s farewell tour has been packed with headline moments, and the final four events are guaranteed to add to his legacy in the WWE.
Described by Kurt Angle in an interview with Betway Insider earlier this year as ‘the greatest WWE superstar of all time’, Cena’s final run has been truly memorable.

Cena’s potential final opponent
With WWE yet to confirm who Cena will face in his final match on December 13, speculation has been running wild amongst the global wrestling community.
Gunther has been touted as potential opponent, yet many fans believe that there are far more interesting match-ups for Cena in his final outing.
Dominik Mysterio could be an option, although it seems more likely that the WWE will use him to retire his father Rey Mysterio at some point.
Bron Breakker would benefit from the exposure of facing Cena in Washington, but the pair have no back story that would make this booking work.
The same point applies to Drew McIntyre, although he did previously try to set up a singles match with Cena. He is a great wrestler and a worthy opponent for Cena.
Many fans have called for Edge to return to face Cena. He has a long history with him and could feasibly jump ship to the WWE when his AEW contract expires.
The Rock is an obvious choice to have a last dance with Cena given his superstar status and arguably makes the most sense from a storyline perspective.
They have a long history with each other and WWE fans would undoubtedly relish the prospect of seeing two of the biggest names in wrestling go head-to-head.
However, if the WWE wants to make Cena’s exit more memorable, they need to pitch him into a match that fans are not expecting.
The ideal candidate in that scenario would be AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman. He is already ‘over’ with wrestling fans, but facing Cena in his final match would fire him into another stratosphere.
Quite how the WWE could make this happen is something for much greater minds to ponder, but the fan reaction to the bout would be off the scale.
