10/24 WWE SmackDown Preview

As WWE gears up for Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1, tensions are already boiling over. Tonight’s episode promises a heated face-off between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and his challenger, Drew McIntyre. Their rivalry intensified last Friday on SmackDown, where McIntyre earned a disqualification win after Rhodes struck him with the championship belt. The post-match chaos escalated into a full-blown brawl, requiring security to separate the two superstars.

Meanwhile, Ilja Dragunov made a triumphant return to action last week, answering Sami Zayn’s United States Open Challenge. In a hard-fought match, Dragunov shocked fans by defeating Zayn to capture the United States Championship—his first title on WWE’s main roster. In a follow-up video posted to WWE’s official X account, Dragunov vowed to continue the Open Challenge tradition, defending the title against any willing competitor in honor of legacy.

Also on tonight’s card, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will square off against Kiana James. The match comes amid rising friction between Stratton and James’ ally, Women’s United States Champion Giulia. With alliances shifting and rivalries intensifying, the women’s division is poised for a major shakeup.
