Jonathan Gresham Reveals He Suffered Two Strokes – Jonathan Gresham has announced that he recently suffered two strokes and will be stepping away from wrestling for the next two to four weeks to recover.
In a post on social media, Gresham shared that the incident occurred just days ago. He woke up unable to walk or move the left side of his body, had trouble speaking, and could not see properly. It took him 30 minutes to dial 911, after which he woke up in the hospital and was informed of the diagnosis.
“I’ve had a lot of tests run but everything has come back clean,” Gresham wrote. “They’re not sure what happened, and the only thing they said was it could have been a possible complication from a bad case of COVID I had a couple of weeks ago. They said we may never know the exact reason.”
Gresham credited his wife for being by his side during the ordeal, noting that she rushed from Orlando to Atlanta in time to be there when he woke up. He also reflected on the shock of facing such a serious health scare at just 37 years old.
Despite the setback, Gresham assured fans he will return to the ring after receiving full clearance from his neurologist.
“I will be back soon,” he concluded.
