Team Rhea Ripley Wins Women’s WarGames Match – The 38th annual WWE Survivor Series kicked off with an explosive Women’s WarGames match, featuring ten of WWE’s top female Superstars battling it out inside the steel structure. Held at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, the opening bout set the tone for the night with high-energy action and innovative spots.
Bayley and Nia Jax started the match, representing their respective teams. As the rest of the participants entered at staggered intervals, the bout escalated into chaos, with weapons like kendo sticks, belts, trash cans, tables, and even a fire extinguisher coming into play.
A standout moment came when IYO SKY, known for her fearless high-flying maneuvers, executed a breathtaking moonsault from the top of the cage while wearing a trash can over her head and torso. The crowd erupted at the daring display, but it was Rhea Ripley who secured the victory for her team. Ripley, entering last for her squad, delivered a devastating middle-rope Rip-Tide on Liv Morgan, the final entrant for her team, driving her through a table for the decisive pinfall.
After the match, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Naomi, IYO SKY, and Bayley celebrated their hard-fought victory by posing atop the WarGames cage. Their unity and dominance in the chaotic environment marked a triumphant start to the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 event.
