Possible SPOILER Behind Battery Charging Teasers – As noted, during the last few NXT episodes WWE aired brief graphics of what looked to be a mobile phone battery charging.
NXT Superstar Tegan Nox returned to the ring before tonight’s RAW broadcast, competing in a dark match against Toni Storm. This will not be the last we hear of Nox, because she’ll be coming back to NXT soon.
According to PWInsider, those charging vignettes are a vehicle to bring back Tegan Nox. A return date was not expected, but they got up to 80% last week and there could potentially be a full battery at 100% with the July 6 episode, which will be the Great American Bash edition of NXT.
Nox has been out of action since September 2020 after suffering another torn ACL, her third since 2017. She was feuding with NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Candice LeRae at the time of the injury. LeRae was blamed for the injury in the storylines, but it was reported that Nox actually suffered the injury while doing rehab. Nox was expected to be out of the ring for at least 6-9 months. Nox appeared on The Bump back in January and said she was ahead of schedule with her rehab.
