Nick Khan will remain President of WWE through the end of 2030 following a new agreement disclosed in a recent TKO SEC filing.
According to the filing, Khan signed a new employment contract extending his tenure with WWE through December 31, 2030. The deal also outlines increases to his annual base salary over the course of the agreement.
Nick Khan WWE contract details
Under the terms of the contract, Khan will earn a base salary of $2 million annually through December 31, 2026. Beginning January 1, 2027, his base salary will increase to $3 million per year for the remainder of the agreement through 2030.
The filing states:
“The parties agree that the term of this Agreement and Khan’s employment hereunder is for a period commencing on the Effective Date and ending on December 31, 2030.”
The agreement also notes that if Khan continues working beyond the contract expiration date, his employment would continue on an at-will basis unless either side decides to terminate the arrangement.
Additionally, the filing states that if Khan intends to leave WWE following the expiration of the deal, he must provide at least 60 days written notice.
Regarding compensation, the filing states:
“Khan’s base salary shall be $2,000,000 per annum through December 31, 2026, and then shall be $3,000,000 per annum for the period from January 1, 2027 through the end of the Term.”
The agreement also allows for potential merit-based adjustments at WWE’s discretion and subject to approval from TKO’s Board of Directors or designated leadership.
Khan first joined WWE in August 2020 after previously working as a major media executive and sports agent. Since arriving in the company, he has played a central role in WWE’s business expansion, including major media rights agreements, international event deals, sponsorship growth, and WWE’s eventual merger into TKO Group Holdings alongside UFC.
His influence within WWE has grown significantly during the TKO era, particularly following Vince McMahon’s departure from day-to-day company leadership.
The new contract ensures Khan will remain one of WWE’s top executives through at least the end of the decade.
