Kamille Returns to AEW, Attacks Willow Nightingale at Dynasty

Kamille made her return to All Elite Wrestling during the AEW Dynasty Zero Hour pre-show, ending a lengthy absence with a decisive statement.

The moment came during a backstage interview with Willow Nightingale, the reigning TBS Champion, who was suddenly attacked from behind. The assailant was revealed to be Kamille, who declared that she was back after her extended time away.

Shortly after the attack, Kamille competed in a quick squash match, showcasing her dominance in her first in-ring appearance back. Following the match, Nightingale made her way out, still showing signs of injury with her shoulder bandaged, looking for payback.

However, Nightingale was unable to get any revenge. As she attempted to enter the ring, Kamille struck again, attacking her through the ropes and dropping her with a pump kick to leave her laid out for a second time.

AEW confirmed that Kamille’s return comes after a 529-day hiatus. She had not been seen since the fall of 2024, when she was written off television following a backstage attack. Her absence also followed her split from Mercedes Moné.

In the months since, Tony Khan had remained largely silent on her status, though he had hinted that a return could eventually happen.

During her time away from the ring, Kamille stayed active in other areas. She appeared in the film “Queen of the Ring,” portraying June Byers, and was also announced as part of the cast for the upcoming American Gladiators reboot on Amazon Prime. That project includes several wrestling names such as Wardlow, Rick Boogz, Jessie Godderz, and J-Rod from OVW.

Kamille’s return immediately places her back into a high-profile position, with her attack on Nightingale signaling a likely feud moving forward.
