Maxxine Dupri Discusses Social Media Hate

Maxxine Dupri Discusses Social Media Hate – WWE RAW star Maxxine Dupri recently opened up about the challenges she faces as a public figure, including dealing with social media criticism and the mental strain that comes with life on the road. During a new appearance on the Impaulsive podcast, Dupri explained that while learning to wrestle and performing in front of a global audience can be difficult, the emotional side of the business is often the toughest part.

When asked what she finds most challenging about being a professional wrestler, Dupri said that the in-ring aspect is something she enjoys. However, the constant travel schedule and time away from home can take a toll mentally.

“I signed up to learn this new craft and try new moves and do it in front of the world and it’s fun. So I do enjoy that,” Dupri said. “The part that actually is like — it’s still challenging, but the part that’s truly hard is like mentally being away from home. You’re probably, like, so numb to this, but for me, sometimes if I catch a glimpse of something online, I don’t do well with that. So that’s why I got to stay off X.”

Dupri also explained that she has stepped away from X but still uses other social media platforms where she finds the environment more positive. She mentioned that she continues to stay active on Instagram and TikTok, where she believes the communities tend to be more supportive.

“Anything they say about you, I promise you I’ve thought about myself already. I don’t need you to tell me,” she said. “And I also think, like, I’ve never said anything outright mean about another person that wasn’t coming from a place of my own insecurity.”

Her comments highlight how performers often deal with criticism while continuing to grow in their careers.

Dupri has remained active on WWE RAW and continues to build momentum in the women’s division. She previously finished a feud with Becky Lynch and is now involved in a program with Nattie.

During her rivalry with Lynch, Dupri achieved a major milestone. In November 2025, she defeated Lynch to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, marking the first championship victory of her WWE career. Her title reign lasted nearly 50 days before the storyline moved in a new direction.

As Dupri continues to develop in the ring, she remains focused on improving while learning how to manage the public attention that comes with performing on WWE RAW.
