Update on Drew McIntyre’s WWE Contract – New details have surfaced regarding Drew McIntyre’s current WWE contract, providing more clarity on how long “The Scottish Warrior” will remain with the company.
McIntyre officially re-signed with WWE in April 2024, a move announced in a memorable moment by The Rock on Instagram. The Final Boss personally presented McIntyre with a custom Claymore sword to celebrate the new deal. While WWE did not publicly reveal the contract’s duration at the time, it was confirmed to be a multi-year agreement.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, McIntyre’s current WWE contract runs until 2028. The report notes that the deal is worth several million dollars per year, and sources close to the situation estimate that McIntyre has “about two and a half years left” on his contract. While Fightful could not confirm the precise length, it was “hinted” that McIntyre’s deal covers a four-year period, keeping him with WWE through at least WrestleMania 44.
McIntyre’s contract renewal came at a pivotal time in his career, as he re-established himself as one of WWE’s top stars and key players on RAW. His renewed deal ensures his continued presence as a central figure in WWE programming for the foreseeable future.
