Rhea Ripley Provides an Update on Nose Injury – Rhea Ripley has shared a new update regarding the nose injury she suffered during WWE’s recent tour of Japan. The former World Champion sustained a broken nose on the tour and missed several weeks of action before returning on the November 10, 2025 episode of RAW. When she appeared on the show wearing a protective facemask, it became clear that her recovery was still in progress.
Ripley is now preparing to join IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee as they step into WarGames at Survivor Series this Saturday. Their opponents will be Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Becky Lynch. With a match as physically demanding as WarGames, questions naturally came up about whether Ripley would continue to wear the mask.
Speaking on the latest edition of RAW Recap, Ripley confirmed that the mask is staying on, explaining that her nose has healed only partially and still requires protection. She also revealed that she plans to customize the mask to create a unique look for the event, echoing the personalized design she used in last year’s match.
Ripley stated, “I will have to wear it during this WarGames match, and I will probably have it on the entire time unless someone takes it off forcefully. My nose is somewhat healed, but it’s not fully healed, so I will be wearing [the mask]. But I will also be doing it up, just like I did last year, so I can’t wait to show everyone exactly what my mask looks like.”
Her update adds another layer of intrigue going into Survivor Series. Ripley’s toughness has been a constant part of her character, and competing inside WarGames with a still-healing injury reinforces that image. At the same time, fans are now curious about what her customized mask will look like, especially given her history of incorporating striking and intimidating visual elements into her presentation.
With WarGames only days away, Ripley appears determined, focused, and ready to compete despite not being fully recovered. Her willingness to step into such a dangerous structure under these circumstances highlights both her resilience and her commitment to the match. As Survivor Series approaches, her presence will undoubtedly remain one of the most closely watched aspects of the women’s WarGames bout.
