Bronson Reed Pins Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel – In a shocking result to open WWE Crown Jewel, Bronson Reed scored the biggest victory of his career by defeating Roman Reigns, thanks in part to chaos caused by The Vision and The Bloodline.
The match saw interference from The Vision’s Bron Breakker, who speared Reigns outside the ring early in the bout. Moments later, Jimmy and Jey Uso ran down to aid their cousin, attempting to even the odds. However, their involvement backfired badly. When the fight returned to the ring, Jey went for a spear intended for Reed, but Reed moved out of the way, sending Jey crashing through Reigns and putting him through a table.
Sensing his opportunity, Reed climbed the ropes and delivered a thunderous Tsunami splash to pin Reigns clean in the middle of the ring.
After the match, a furious Reigns confronted his cousins, shouting, “The whole world thinks I can’t do s–t on my own.” Despite telling Jimmy and Jey that he loved them, Reigns ordered them to stay away from him, saying, “Don’t come see me until Christmas.”
This victory marks a major milestone for Bronson Reed, who becomes the first man to pin Roman Reigns since Cody Rhodes did so at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia last year. The result also evens the score between Reigns and Reed at 1–1, following Reigns’ win over Reed earlier this year at Clash in Paris.
