JBL Calls Raja Jackson’s Attack on Wrestler “Attempted Murder”

JBL Calls Raja Jackson’s Attack on Wrestler “Attempted Murder” – The fallout continues from the violent incident involving Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who attacked independent wrestler Stuart “Sicko Stu” Smith at a Knox Pro Academy event. WWE Hall of Famer JBL has now spoken out, condemning Jackson’s actions in strong terms and calling them “attempted murder.”

Speaking on his Something to Wrestle With podcast, JBL placed full responsibility on Raja Jackson while expressing sympathy for Rampage Jackson, who was not involved in the situation.

“I want to make it very clear, this is 100% Raja Jackson’s fault. 100% the fault, and the blame lies 100% with this man. Feel sorry for Rampage, who seems like a really good guy… But 100% the blame goes on Raja.”

The Hall of Famer criticized the continuation of the assault after Smith was already knocked unconscious. JBL argued that at that stage, it was no longer a fight but something far more serious.

“I mean, no matter what happens here, once this guy is out, the fight’s over, if it is a fight, if the guy didn’t know he was in a fight… At that point, it’s just attempted murder. I mean, you’re, you’re hitting. I don’t care what happens. I don’t care if this happened in the back. The guy’s down and out, and you just keep punching them. That’s, there’s no call for that… It’s not Knox Pro’s fault. It’s not their fault… 100% of this goes on Raja Jackson.”

The incident has already had significant consequences. Reports indicate that the LAPD is actively investigating Raja Jackson for the attack. Additionally, Knox Pro Academy, where the assault took place, has been removed from the WWE ID program, a move that further highlights the severity of the situation.

With police involvement and growing backlash from the wrestling community, the case surrounding Raja Jackson is expected to remain a major topic in the weeks ahead.
