WWE is still planning to hold WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia as part of Riyadh Season in 2027, despite recent speculation about a possible location change.
Concerns had emerged about whether the event could be moved due to the reported impact of the US-Iran conflict on the region. However, a new report from WrestleVotes Radio indicates that WWE is continuing with its original plan for the show.
The report noted that March 27, 2027 is currently being targeted as the likely date for WrestleMania 43. This timing would place the show on the final weekend of Riyadh Season, aligning with the large-scale events typically scheduled during that period.
The report also noted that April 10, 2027 has been discussed as a backup option. While no official announcement has been made, both dates are said to be under consideration as WWE continues planning for one of its biggest annual events.
In addition to the possible date, there has been some discussion about the format of WrestleMania 43. A one-night version of the show has reportedly been considered internally, though that option is viewed as unlikely.
Further insight came from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, who stated that ESPN prefers WrestleMania to remain a two-night event. The two-night format has been in place since 2020 and has become a standard for the company’s biggest show of the year.
WWE has seen strong business results with the expanded format, allowing for a larger card and increased viewership across multiple nights. Based on current discussions, there is no strong indication that the company plans to move away from that approach.
At this stage, March 27, 2027 stands as the leading candidate for WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia, with April 10 remaining an alternative date. Final confirmation is still pending as WWE continues its planning process.
