The rivalry between Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer escalated on the April 6 episode of WWE RAW, but the segment may have led to legitimate concerns ahead of WrestleMania 42.
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, both Morgan and Roxanne Perez have been placed in concussion protocol following a hard collision during the show.
“Both Liv and Roxanne in concussion protocol after they clonked skulls HARD when Stephanie jumped Liv from behind. Hopefully we didn’t just witness a disaster affecting WrestleMania,” Alvarez wrote.
The incident occurred during a backstage segment involving members of The Judgment Day. Morgan was addressing the group’s recent turn on Finn Balor, which took place while Perez was off television. Before Perez could respond, Vaquer attacked Morgan from behind.
The impact of the attack sent Morgan crashing into Perez, causing both women to collide heads as they fell. The force of the contact was evident, and the situation worsened when Vaquer continued the assault by throwing Morgan into a nearby monitor.
After the show, Morgan shared an update on social media, revealing a visible injury. She posted photos showing a large welt on her forehead alongside Raquel Rodriguez, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh. In her message, she made it clear that her focus remains on Vaquer.
“You’re mine now b**ch,” Morgan wrote.
At this time, there is no confirmed update on the severity of the injuries for either Morgan or Perez. Their status remains uncertain as WWE continues its build toward WrestleMania 42.
Morgan is currently scheduled to challenge Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship on night one of WrestleMania 42, set for April 18. Perez had just returned to television the previous week, where she aligned with Morgan to attack Vaquer in the ring on RAW.
With the event drawing closer, this situation introduces uncertainty into a key match on the card. WWE has yet to provide an official update regarding either performer’s condition or potential changes to the WrestleMania lineup.
