WWE ID To Crown New Women’s Champion – WWE ID is wasting no time addressing the vacancy left by Kylie Rae’s exit, with plans already underway to crown a new Women’s Champion. The title will officially be decided on November 17 at Wrestling Open Rhode Island, taking place at Rhodes On Pawtuxet in Cranston, Rhode Island.
The promotion confirmed the news on social media, posting, “BREAKING… The new WWE ID Women’s Champion will be crowned on Nov. 17th at @WrestlingOpenRI at Rhodes On Pawtuxet in Cranston, RI! More info to come!!!” The caption ended with the phrase, “whoever wins the championship will be ID’d!!!,” tying into the brand’s signature identity-focused tagline.
The competitors for the match have not yet been revealed, but the announcement comes soon after Kylie Rae confirmed that her WWE ID contract would not be renewed, officially ending her run with the company. Rae made history earlier this year by becoming the inaugural WWE ID Women’s Champion during SummerSlam weekend. However, she later vacated the title due to pregnancy.
The decision to crown a new champion follows another recent roster change, as Zayda Steel also departed the brand. This leaves Zoe Sager as the only active female wrestler currently signed to WWE ID. Despite being positioned as a developmental offshoot, WWE ID continues to make bold moves and showcase emerging talent, maintaining the brand’s reputation for unpredictability and quick adaptation to change.
