
11/7 WWE SmackDown Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s coverage of WWE SmackDown on November 7, from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC.
Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring to start the show.
Cody asks the people what do they want to talk about. Cody says they can talk about Saturday Night’s Main Event and Drew McIntyre. Drew introduced the title belt into the match. He introduced a weapon into the match. Cody returns to Drew after the crowd chants his name. For someone who is supposed to know every detail about what makes Drew tick, Drew does not realize that his decision to pull the trigger has cost him. Drew had no reluctance to pull the trigger. He is one of the biggest and strongest. He is also one of the most self-sabotaging wrestler in the history of the business. Cody says he is moving on. Drew, you are in the rear view mirror. The business of Smackdown and the WWE Championship… Cody says he wants to do something different.
Cody says he wants to come out and sit with you guys and watch Smackdown so we can all decide who is next in line for the title.
The lights go down and Aleister Black’s music plays. He comes out with Zelina Vega.
Black says if Cody is moving out then he is stepping in. Since setting Damian Priest on fire, he is going to do something new. He says he has a chip on his shoulder. It is about the size of the WWE title belt.
Cody removes his tie and unbuttons his collar and he turns around into Zelina. Zelina says too bad your nightmare begins now. Zelina slaps Cody.
Nick Aldis comes out and he asks the people if they want what he thinks they want, Aleister Black can face Cody in the main event.
Ilja Dragunov’s United States Title Open Challenge
We are back and Ilja Dragunov says for the legacy of the US Title open challenge, who will step up. Tonight, his dear friends and enemies, pain will be there for you.
Tommaso Ciampa came out last week to accept the challenge, but he was denied and called a jackass. He says he is a two time NXT Champion. He is a two time Smackdown tag team champion. No one calls him a jackass. Ciampa says he is surrounded by jackasses to tell Ilja the title is his.
Ilja tells Ciampa he is right. Ilja says he accepts the challenge for his title . . . from him.
Ilja Dragunov vs. Johnny Gargano for the Men’s United States Championship
Ciampa distracts Ilja from the floor and Johnny hits Ilja from behind. Johnny punches Ilja while Ciampa goes to the back. Johnny sends Ilja into the turnbuckles. Ilja blocks a thrust kick and he hits a German suplex. Ilja holds on and hits a second German suplex. Ilja holds on but Johnny blocks Ila and he goes for the leg. Ilja with elbows aplenty and then he hits a wrist clutch Karelin suplex. Ilja goes to the turnbuckles and Candice gets on the apron and that allows Johnny to hit a thrust kick to the leg to knock Ilja off the turnbuckles. Johnny kicks Ilja to the floor. Johnny with a forearm and he sends Ilja’s head into the apron.
Ilja with a forearm to Johnny on the apron and Johnny with forearms and a kick. Johnny with a slingshot spear for a near fall. Johnny with a chop and Ilja misses a chop. Johnny with another chop and snap mare followed by a drop kick to the back of the head for a near fall. Johnny blocks a German suplex and Johnny with elbows and a boot to the head. Johnny with punches and Ilja with chops. Johnny with shoulders in the corner. Johnny with an abdominal stretch. Ilja escapes and he connects with forearms. Johnny with a forearm and Ilja with an enzuigiri. Ija with a head butt and forearms. Ilja with a European uppercut and Johnny with a forearm. They go back and forth with forearms and chops. Ilja with a jumping boot to the head and Ilja with a Konstantin Special.
Ilja with a running knee into the corner and a running boot to the head. Ilja goes to the turnbuckles and hits a knee drop for a near fall. Johnny kicks Ilja but Ilja kicks Johnny. Ilja goes up top and he is met with a thrust kick. Johnny with a thrust kick to the back of the head. Johnny with a poisonrana for a near fall. Johnny with chops in the corner. Johnny puts Ilja on the turnbuckles and Ilja blocks Johnny and Ilja chops Johnny. Ilja pulls Johnny up for a head butt. Ilja goes up top and he hitsa a back senton for a near fall. Ilja sets for an H Bomb but Johnny gets his boots up. Ilja wiht a kick and a choke slam. Ilja sets for Konstantin Special but Candice hits Ilja in the ropes when Johnny distracted the referee. Johnny with a suicide dive into a tornado DDT on the floor followed by a slingshot DDT for a near fall.
Johnny pulls ILja into position but Ilja with a kick and he sends Johnny into the turnbuckles. Ilja goes for a superplex to bring Johnny back into the ring and he follows with H Bomb for the three count.
Winner: Ilja Dragunov
Backstage:
Nick Aldis is in his office talking to a referee when Sami Zayn walks in. Sami says he wants to be at ringside for Rey Fenix’s match, knowing what Solo Sikoa and his crew might try to pull. Nick reminds him he’s still not medically cleared and insists he focus on getting healthy. Sami pushes back, saying he won’t just sit by and watch forever.
R-Truth bursts in, cutting the tension completely. He asks if this is how they’re choosing his “older brother’s” final opponent and declares he wants in. Truth tells Nick, “I’m putting my balls in your hands,” prompting Nick to calmly reply that Truth is already in. Truth looks relieved but adds, “Good, ‘cause I don’t want my balls touching your balls.”
– We then cut to a video recap of Jade Cargill capturing the Women’s Championship on Saturday night.

Backstage:
We are back and Ciampa is sitting in the back and Johnny and Candice show up and they say that Ilja was tough. Nathan Frazer and Axiom show up to talk about Ciampa being denied twice and his partner getting the match. They call Ciampa a jackass.
In the Arena:
Jade Cargill makes her way to the ring.
Jade says y’all saw what happened to Tiffany and that goes for every woman in the locker room. Make no mistakes about it. She is that bitch.
While Jade poses on the stage, Charlotte Flair comes out for her match against Nia Jax, and Charlotte is accompanied by Alexa Bliss. Jade holds up her title belt, as is contractually obligated and Charlotte and Alexa walk to the ring. Charlotte turns around but Alexa holds her back.

Backstage:
Chelsea Green tells Alba Fyre that tonight marks the moment she officially becomes the longest-reigning champion. Michin steps in and corrects her, pointing out that Giulia already holds that distinction. Chelsea smirks and insists she’s already the greatest champion anyway — but when she turns around, she finds herself face-to-face with Jade Cargill. Green tries to play it cool, saying she wants to hear from Jade directly.
Jade brushes past her and tells B-Fab to step aside, but overhears B-Fab making a comment about her attitude. Jade stops, looks back, and says she can do whatever she wants — and if B-Fab has a problem with that, she can settle it in the ring next week.
Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax
They lock up and Nia pushes Flair back. Flair with a side head lock and she goes for a shoulder tackle but she does not move Nia. Nia pie faces Flair a few times and Flair slaps Nia and follows with a Thesz Press and punches. Nia with a head butt and she misses a splash into the corner. Flair with kicks and Nia catches Flair but Flair with a rana into a drop kick. Nia avoids being sent into the turnbuckles and Nia sends Flair into the turnbuckles. Flair with chops. Nia with an Irish whip and Nia with a clothesline to stop the Flair flip. Nia chokes Flair in the corner. NIa sends Flair into the turnbuckles. Flair floats over on an Irish whip and Nia with a clothesline. Nia gets a near fall. Nia sends Flair face first into the mat a few times. Nia with an Irish whip but she misses a splash. Flair with a rollup for a near fall.
Nia with a clothesline and a Straitjacket choke. Flair sends Nia to the floor to escape and she follows with a pescado. Nia sends Flair into the ring post. Nia sends Flair into the ringside barrier. They return to the ring. Nia pie faces Flair. Flair with chops and NIa with an Irish whip but Flair does the Flair flip and boot. Flair goes up top and hits a cross body. Flair with chops and a thrust kick. Flair clips Nia and then she goes for the walkover clothesline and hits it. Flair walks over Nia and goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault and hits it for a near fall. Flair goes for the figure four but Nia with a head butt. Nia avoids a kick and hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Nia pulls Flair into the corner for an aNIAlator but Flair moves and Nia falls to the mat. Flair gets a near fall. NIa gets Flair on her shoulders and Flair goes to the apron and Nia climbs the turnbuckles. Flair kicks Nia and Nia gets caught in the turnbuckles. Flair with a slingshot knee drop and she gets a near fall.
Flair goes for the figure four and Nia kicks Flair into the turnbuckles but Flair stops short. Flair with a tornado DDT for a near fall.
Lash Legend punches Alexa from the crowd and she chokes Alexa.
Nia hits Flair from behind adn hits an aNIAlator for the three count.
Winner: NIa Jax
– Nick Aldis reveals the next two matches in the Cena tournament of Retirement. Match One will be Miz versus Jey Uso. Match Two will be LA Knight versus a surprise opponent.
Backstage:
Cathy Kelley stands backstage with Nia Jax and Lash Legend and asks how their partnership came together.
Nia says she would’ve beaten Charlotte on her own, but teaming with Lash was a challenge at first since they weren’t exactly friends. Over time, though, she found respect for Lash — reminding everyone they once faced off in NXT and that Lash proved to be a formidable opponent. “Now she’s my friend,” Nia says.
Lash smirks and calls herself “the Bouji Bully,” adding that after what she did to Alexa Bliss, everyone better believe that nobody in the locker room is safe. Tonight was just the start.
Women’s U.S. Championship Match: Giulia (c) vs. Chelsea Green
Ethan Page is in the front row to hold on to Chelsea’s title belt.
Green slaps Giulia and Giulia slaps back. Giulia with a side head lock take down and punches. Giulia with a head butt and a suplex. Giulia goes for a suplex but Green lands on her feet and gets a rollup. Giulia with a knee or a near fall. Giulia tosses Green across the ring by the hair. Giulia with a forearm and she sends Green to the apron and connects with a forearm. Giulia chokes Green in the ropes and James with a forearm while the referee is out of position. Alba kicks Kiana. Giulia kicks Alba. Green with a rollup and her feet on the ropes for the three count.
Winner: Chelsea Green (new champion)
After the match, Ethan and Chelsea celebrate in the crowd.
Backstage:
Solo shows up to give the pep talk. He tells everyone good job last week, but it wasn’t good enough. Sami Zayn is still walking around. The Wyatts have something that belongs to this family. Ilja Dragunov has something that belongs to this family and Tama is going to take it back. Tonight is about the big man. Go out there and make a statement. Smash him and make sure no one disrespects his family again. He asks Talla if he understands and Talls snarls.
The Wyatts show up after they leave and Rowan says not yet.
Back to commercial.
– The medical staff checks on Alexa and Charlotte apologizes for what happened. Charlotte is given a bag of ice from a mystery person and we see that it is Asuka, who pulls off her mask and spits mist in their faces and she dances away with Kairi Sane.
Rey Fenix vs. Talla Tonga
Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, and Shinsuke Nakamura attack the rest of the group before the match. Rey with a suicide dive or two. He goes for a third one and Talla catches him but Rey sends Talla into the post. Talla tosses Rey back into the ring.
The referee starts the match and Rey with kicks but Talla blocks an Irish whip and Rey with a kick and he flips over Talla with a moonsault. Rey with kicks to the leg. Rey with chops and Talla tosses Rey into the air and sends him to the mat. Talla with a running boot to knock Rey off the apron. Talla hot shots Rey on the ringside barrier. Rey with a chop. Talla with an Irish whip and clothesline. Talla with a biel. Talla chokes Rey in the ropes. Rey with a had butt and forearm followed by a chop. Talla iwth a shoulder tackle. Talla with cross faces. Rey stomps on the foot and he chops Talla many times. Talla chops Rey.
Talla with a Jericho cover for a near fall. Talla with kicks. Solo sits at ringside trying to do his Deniro impression. Rey with punches that have no impact. Rey with punches and chops followed by a springboard move but Talla knocks him aside with a shoulder tackle. Talla punches Rey. Talla wants Rey to hit him and Rey does, very meekly. Talla with a clothesline. Talla with a forearm and elbows in the corner. Talla with a kick in the corner. Talla with an Irish whip but he misses a splash into the corner. Rey with a kick and Talla swats a super kick aside. Rey swings in the ropes and hits a thrust kick. Rey with a jumping spin kick in the corner.
Rey goes for a monkey flip but Talla holds on. Rey goes for a sunset flip and Talla pulls him up. Talla with an uppercut. Talla goes for a boot but Rey moves and Talla gets his leg caught in the ropes. Rey with a kick and he drops Talla’s leg on the top rope. Rey with a kick and he goes to the apron for the running kick on the top rope. Rey goes up top and he hits a cross body for a near fall. Rey with a super kick and he goes to the turnbuckles but Talla catches Rey. Rey goes for a rana but Talla blocks it and hits a power bomb. Talla with a choke slam for the three count.
Winner: Talla Tonga
After the match, Solo tells Talla to pick Rey up and. Sami Zayn’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring with a chair.
– Next week, Jade Cargill faces B-Fab. LA Knight faces some unknown being in the Cenement. Jey Uso faces Miz in the Cenament.
Backstage:
Cathy Kelley is with Miz and she brings up his match next week. She asks about Carmelo Hayes.
Miz asks if you thought that was payback? It was a reminder of what he is capable of. Everything he touches, he makes them important. He made Carmelo Hayes relevant. He beat John Cena in the main event of Wrestlemania so he should be an inevitable opponent for the last match. Now he has to face Jey Uso. Jey is a highlight and highlights fade. Legacies last forever. Critics will cry and the internet will whine.
Aleister Black vs.Cody Rhodes
They lock up and Cody with a side head lock take down and Black with a head scissors. Black with a side head lock and Cody with a head scissors. Both men with arm drags. Black with a suplex attempt but Cody blocks it and Cody with a delayed gourdbuster. Black with an Irish whip and Cody floats over but Cody misses a power slam. Black with a kick as Cody comes off the ropes. Cody rolls to the floor. Black follows after Cody and Cody send Black into the apron. Black sends Cody into the announce table. They return to the ring and Black with a back elbow. Black gets a near fall. Black with a kick to the back. Cody backs Black into the corner and Cody with punches. Black with a kick and European uppercut.
Black chokes Cody in the ropes and then Zelina chokes Cody when Black talks to the referee. Black with a snap mare and he gets a near fall. Black with a leg drop for a near fall. Black with a kick and snap mare into a reverse chin lock. Black with a knee and Irish whip. Cody floats over and hits the power slam for a near fall. Black with a double leg take down but Cody kicks him away. Cody with a rollup for a near fall. Black with a kick for a near fall. Black with chops, punches, and kicks. Black with a snap mare. Black with a reverse chin lock. Black with a forearm and Cody with a running forearm. Cody floats over and hits a power slam. Cody with Beautiful Disaster for a near fall.
Cody sets for CrossRhodes but Black with a knee and another knee. Black with a kick to the leg and a kick to the chest for a near fall. Black goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Cody lands on his feet and he hits a Cody Cutter for a near fall. Cody with jabs and the Bionic Elbow set up but Black with a round kick and a jumping knee. Black with a German suplex for a near fall. Black runs into a knee to the back and Cody goes for CrossRhodes but Black with a snap mare. Black with a kick and Cody with a kick. Black and Cody with kicks at the same time and both men are down.
Drew with a Claymore to the referee and Drew yells at the referee.
Cody attacks Drew and Black hits Cody from behind.
Drew kicks Cody.
Damian Priest’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he connects with punches to Black and Drew. Priest punches Black and Drew punches Priest but Priest with a fatliner. Priest sends Black to the mat and clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. Cody with a knee to Drew. Priest punches Black on the announce table. Zelina goes after Priest but Priest sends her into the time keeper’s area. Black rakes Priest’s eyes.
Cody with a Cody Cutter on Drew and Drew goes to the floor.
Nick Aldis comes out and he says Drew is suspended.

11/7 WWE SmackDown Preview
Jade Cargill, fresh off her monumental victory over Tiffany Stratton, will address the WWE Universe for the first time as the new WWE Women’s Champion. Cargill ended Stratton’s impressive 302-day reign, completing her long-standing quest for gold. Her message tonight could set the tone for a new era in the women’s division.
Cody Rhodes, who successfully retained his Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, will also speak to fans. Rhodes overcame the unique stipulation that would have cost him the title via disqualification or count-out, and now looks ahead to what’s next.
In title action, Giulia defends her Women’s United States Championship against former champion Chelsea Green. Though Green has been chasing the title for weeks, this marks their first singles clash since Giulia defeated her on WWE NXT in September 2024.
Rey Fenix returns to the ring to face Talla Tonga of MFT, following a post-match brawl last Friday involving Fenix, Shinsuke Nakamura, and The Motor City Machine Guns.
Nia Jax continues her campaign against the Women’s Tag Team Champions, facing Charlotte Flair after defeating Alexa Bliss last week.
Finally, Ilja Dragunov will issue another U.S. Open Challenge, continuing his streak of successful defenses against Aleister Black and Nathan Frazer.
