Wes Lee and More Names Released by WWE – Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net has reported more additional names confirmed in WWE’s latest wave of talent releases, which include Wes Lee, Jin Tala, Haze Jameson, Summer Sorrell, and Brayden “BJ” Ray.
Wes Lee’s release stands out as one of the most surprising from this group. Once one of NXT’s most dynamic competitors and a former NXT North American Champion, Lee had been sidelined for much of 2024 due to injury. His departure marks the end of a significant chapter in the brand’s high-flying division.
The rest of the names—Jin Tala, Drako Knox, Haze Jameson, Summer Sorrell ans Brayden “BJ” Ray—primarily consist of newer developmental recruits. Most had not yet made regular television appearances but were active participants at the WWE Performance Center.
While WWE has not yet released an official statement regarding these cuts, this round follows an ongoing pattern of roster adjustments affecting both NXT and developmental divisions.
