AAA On Fox Results – May 23, 2026 – After weeks of hints on AAA en FOX, the reveal finally happened on the May 23, 2026 live broadcast.
Marisela Peña opened the show in the ring, surrounded by AAA legends and current stars. Dorian Roldan stood beside her, clearly expecting to be named the new general manager.
Instead, Peña stunned everyone by introducing Rey Mysterio as the promotion’s new GM. The crowd erupted, and the wrestlers around the ring celebrated the announcement. Fans also realized why Rey’s voice had been missing from the English commentary earlier in the show.
Not everyone shared the excitement. Dorian Roldan looked furious, and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio was just as unhappy with the decision.
AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Laredo Kid (c) vs. Rey Fenix
Savio Vega stepped in on commentary with Rey Mysterio now serving as GM, and the match got underway. Fenix went after Laredo’s arm early, sending him to the ropes, but Laredo answered with an arm drag to reset the pace.
Fenix grabbed a headlock, Laredo slipped free, and Fenix rolled to the floor. Laredo followed with a suicide dive and threw him back inside. He went for a top‑rope dropkick, but Fenix caught him in midair and snapped him down with a sit‑out powerbomb for a two count.
Laredo fired back with a neckbreaker and a Michinoku driver, but Fenix kicked out. Fenix tried a springboard, only for Laredo to meet him on the ropes with a waistlock. Fenix fought him off and rolled into a cutter.
Fenix lifted Laredo for a brainbuster, but Laredo survived the cover. Fenix sent him to the corner, but Laredo countered with a destroyer DDT that rattled the ring. Fenix still kicked out at a count of two.
Laredo hit a poisonrana, but Fenix answered instantly with a German suplex. Laredo blasted him with a forearm, Fenix hit a step‑up kick, and then lifted Laredo for the Mexican Muscle Buster. Laredo slipped out of it.
Fenix went for a discus elbow, but Laredo crumpled to the mat. The referee checked on him and stepped away to speak with the timekeeper. With the ref turned, Laredo hit a low blow. The ref turned back just in time to see Laredo land a frog splash and score the pin to retain the title.
Winner: Laredo Kid
The broadcast then confirmed that Noche De Los Grandes will span two weeks starting next week. The event will include a Six‑Woman Tag Match, the War Raiders vs. Pagano & Psycho Clown for the AAA Tag Team Championships, and the Mask‑vs‑Mask showdown to end the Americano Civil War: Real El Grande Americano vs. OG El Grande Americano.
— Back from break, Rey Mysterio confronted Laredo Kid about his actions. Rey said he was disappointed, but Laredo brushed it off, saying a win is a win. Rey responded by granting Fenix another title shot at Noche De Los Grandes.
Los Hermanos Americanos (Julios & Bruto Creddos) vs. Los Americanos (Rayo & Bravo)
Los Hermanos Americanos made their entrance in full Creedo gear, while JBL and Graves argued on commentary about whether they were actually the Creed Brothers. The Superlucha rules meant no tags were needed, which only made the Creeds/Creedos switch even harder to track with everyone dressed the same.
The Hermanos struck first, diving onto Rayo and Bravo on the floor and beating them down at ringside. Rayo fired back on Bruto, but Julios grabbed him and slammed his head into the steel steps. They tossed Rayo into the ring with a pair of chairs and tried to crush him with a con‑chair‑to, but Bravo yanked him clear.
Rayo and Bravo grabbed the chairs and smashed Julios, then set Bruto on one and dropped him face‑first onto it. They split Julio’s legs around the ring post, and Bravo pulled out an OG Americano piñata from under the ring, smashing it over Bruto and spilling candy everywhere.
Rayo and Bravo dragged out a table and bridged it across the barricades, but Julios and Bruto recovered and jumped them. Julios dropped Bravo on the apron, and the Hermanos took control. They doubled up on Rayo in the ring, slamming him onto a chair and then dropping him back‑first on it again. Rayo tried to fight back but the numbers caught up to him. Bravo dove in to break a pin, only to get tossed right back out.
Bravo returned swinging an American flag and battered Julios with it. Rayo launched Bruto off the ring post, and Bravo hit an airplane spin into an Olympic slam. Both Americanos climbed up and hit dueling diving headbutts, but Bruto somehow kicked out.
Bravo dropkicked Bruto, but Julios wiped him out. Rayo tried to help, but the Hermanos caught both Americanos in a super collider. They still kicked out at two.
Julios hit a double superplex off the ring post and followed with a 450, but Bravo stayed alive.
Bruto set up a table at ringside and the Hermanos tried to send Rayo through it, but Bravo popped up with a kendo stick and took them out. He laid Bruto on the table and Rayo climbed the ring post, crashing down with a splash that sent Bruto through the wood.
Bravo went after Julios with the kendo stick, holding him in place while Rayo loaded his mask and drilled him with a diving headbutt. Before they could cover, OG Americano sprinted out and put Rayo through the announce table.
Real Americano charged down with a chair and attacked the Hermanos. OG slid into the ring and the two masked rivals stared each other down, unable to touch each other before their Mask‑vs‑Mask match. OG backed off, then ripped off his sweatshirt to reveal a shirt with a picture of Real’s girlfriend — the one OG got fired at the contract signing.
That set Real off. The Hermanos and Americanos rushed in to separate them, but OG and Real broke free and started throwing punches, violating the no‑contact rule. Security swarmed the ring as chaos broke out.
No Contest.
Rey Mysterio Jr came out onto the stage and tried to restore order. He told everyone to calm down and made it clear that the Mask‑vs‑Mask match is happening next week no matter what. At least, that seemed to be the message — Savio’s translations weren’t exactly on Rey’s level.
The fighting didn’t stop. The locker room emptied as wrestlers rushed in to separate OG Americano and Real Americano while the Hermanos and Americanos kept swinging. The scene dissolved into a full‑scale riot as the show shifted into a comic‑book style promo hyping Noches de Los Grandes.
We go to credits.
