Hogan’s Widow Rejects Flair’s Claim Surrounding Hulk’s Passing – Ric Flair’s recent comments about the death of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan are now being challenged by Hogan’s widow, Sky Hogan. Flair appeared on the Doubl3 Coverage podcast last week, where he claimed that Hogan’s passing was the result of “street drugs.” The remark drew immediate attention, but Sky Hogan says the allegation is entirely false.
Speaking to TMZ Sports on Monday, Sky directly disputed Flair’s claim. “That didn’t happen at all,” she said, firmly rejecting any suggestion that street drugs played a role in Hogan’s death. She also clarified that Flair’s claim of having spoken to Hogan the day before he passed was inaccurate, explaining that Hogan had been under constant care at Morton Plant Hospital in Florida. According to Sky, the only update to Hogan’s medication before his passing came after a neck procedure to ensure his medication would not affect his lungs.
Following Sky’s statement, Flair issued a public response on social media. In his message, Flair said he had received incorrect information and acknowledged that he should not have made the claim. “Okay Sky! I got bad information according to you, I should have never mentioned it. I have known Hogan since 1979. Let’s just move past this and concentrate on his legacy. Period, end of story,” Flair wrote. He added that he wanted the focus to remain on Hogan’s legacy: “Let’s PRESERVE HIS LEGACY rather than dwell on any negative energy. I repeat – Hulkamania Forever.”
The exchange has brought additional attention to the circumstances surrounding Hogan’s passing, though Sky Hogan emphasized that speculation is unnecessary and that the medical details leading up to his death have already been made clear.
