Tony Schiavone Fires Back at Critics of AEW All Out Card – AEW announcer Tony Schiavone has fired back at online criticism directed toward the lineup for the upcoming All Out pay-per-view. With Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, and Swerve Strickland absent from the card, some questioned whether AEW would deliver a strong event. Schiavone, speaking on the What Happened When podcast, dismissed those concerns and issued a blunt challenge to critics.
“So the critics are saying that we weren’t gonna have a good card? Well, why don’t we do this? Why don’t we get one of those critics on here and have them book a card for us? See how they come up with one. I’m all for that. Find them, bring them on, have them book a card,” Schiavone said. He then added, “And as we have them book a card, have them go fuck themselves too. How’s that sound?”
The absence of Ospreay, Omega, and Strickland is notable, given their status as former AEW World Champions and marquee stars. However, AEW has still stacked the All Out card with multiple title matches and high-profile bouts. The show will be headlined by AEW World Champion Hangman Page defending against Kyle Fletcher. Other championship contests include Toni Storm putting the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line in a four-way match against Thekla, Jamie Hayter, and Kris Statlander; Mercedes Mone defending the TBS Championship against Riho; and Kazuchika Okada competing in a three-way match for the AEW Unified Championship.
Beyond the title matches, the card features Adam Copeland and Christian Cage teaming up against FTR, a Coffin Match between Jon Moxley and Darby Allin, and MJF battling Mark Briscoe in a Tables ‘N’ Thumbtacks No DQ match. Additional matches include Bobby Lashley’s faction in trios action and a pre-show Tornado Tailgate Brawl.
Schiavone, who works not only as an announcer and interviewer on AEW programming but also as a Senior Producer and Special Advisor, made it clear that the company stands by the strength of its All Out lineup despite the criticism.
