Absent AEW Star Set for In-Ring Return – Former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle appears poised for an in-ring comeback after nearly a year on the sidelines. A new vignette featuring Castle and his Boys aired during the June 5, 2025 episode of Ring of Honor TV on Honor Club, offering fans the first on-screen tease of his return since last summer.
The vignette, in true Dalton Castle fashion, leaned heavily into his theatrical persona. Set in the desert, it depicted Castle’s Boys approaching a mysterious spaceship. Castle then emerged from the craft and confidently declared it was time to “make some noise.” Although no specific date was announced for his in-ring return, the segment clearly signals that Castle’s comeback is imminent.
Castle has not wrestled since July 2024, when he was knocked out during a match against Roderick Strong on an episode of AEW Collision. While there were initial concerns of a concussion, it was later confirmed that Castle had suffered a torn biceps. The injury required surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation period, sidelining him from both AEW and ROH programming.
Over the course of his ROH career, Castle has captured multiple championships, including the ROH World Championship, the ROH World Television Championship, and two reigns as ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion alongside The Boys. His larger-than-life charisma and flamboyant entrance have made him a standout attraction in the company.
Now recovered and seemingly ready for action, Castle’s return could shake up the ROH landscape once again. Fans will no doubt be watching closely to see when and where he reemerges in the ring.
