
5/7 WWE Evolve Results, New Championships Revealed – On the May 7 episode of WWE EVOLVE, brand authority figure Stevie Turner made a major announcement that will shape the future of the brand. Turner revealed the creation of two new titles—the WWE EVOLVE Championship and the WWE EVOLVE Women’s Championship—with inaugural champions to be determined in upcoming four-way elimination matches.
The first of these title matches will take place on the Wednesday, May 28 episode, where the inaugural WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion will be crowned. Three participants have already been confirmed: Wendy Choo, Kali Armstrong, and Kendal Grey. A fourth competitor is still to be announced.
As for the men’s division, the inaugural WWE EVOLVE Championship match will be held on Wednesday, June 4. Sean Legacy was the first name announced for the bout, with the remaining three competitors to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The rest of the May 7 EVOLVE episode featured several story developments and in-ring action:
- Wendy Choo defeated Summer Sorrell, but was attacked post-match by Kylie Rae, hinting at a developing rivalry.
- Nikkita Lyons had a brief backstage segment with Stevie Turner and later defeated Kendal Grey in singles action.
- Lexis King made his presence felt in EVOLVE, demanding competition. Sean Legacy interrupted his segment.
- Keanu Carver and Harlem Lewis were seen brawling backstage. As punishment, Turner announced they’ll be forced to team up next week.
- Drako Knox defeated Jackson Drake in singles competition.
- It’s Gal disrupted a Javier Bernal segment, further pushing her ongoing angle.
- Lexis King also interacted backstage with the Vanity Project faction, consisting of Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Zayda Steel, Jackson Drake, and Bryce Donovan.
