Triple H Confirms There’s No Creative Input from Netflix – WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H recently spoke with BBC Newsbeat about the company’s growing partnership with Netflix. With WWE RAW set to move to the streaming platform in 2025, there has been speculation about how much influence Netflix will have over WWE’s programming. However, Triple H made it clear that Netflix has no input on creative decisions.
“We create the superstars, we create the storylines. We do all of that and the world watches,” said Triple H (Paul Levesque). “[Netflix only decides] how long the show is, when we go off air, or what time we’re on air, just like other live events. As far as the content of the shows… someone doesn’t tell the NFL how football’s played. They distribute our product.”
This statement reinforces that WWE will retain full control over its creative direction, while Netflix’s role is limited to scheduling and distribution.
While RAW will air exclusively on Netflix in the United States starting in 2025, the streaming deal covers all WWE programming internationally, including premium live events. This marks a significant shift in WWE’s global distribution strategy and is expected to increase the company’s reach worldwide.
With WWE’s move to Netflix on the horizon, fans can expect a new platform for their favorite programming—without any outside interference in WWE’s storytelling.
