Tag Team Title Match Set for AEW Dynamite: Spring BreakThru – AEW has officially announced that the AEW World Tag Team Championships will be defended on the April 16 edition of Dynamite: Spring BreakThru. The champions, the Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, will put their titles on the line against Gates of Agony’s Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona.
The match was made following Gates of Agony’s challenge on a recent episode of AEW Collision, and it has now been confirmed as part of the stacked Spring BreakThru card. Lashley and Benjamin captured the AEW Tag Team Titles earlier this year and have since aligned under the Hurt Syndicate banner, bringing a dominant presence to AEW’s tag team division. Their challengers, Kaun and Liona, bring a powerful and destructive style that could pose a serious threat to the reigning champions.
The championship bout adds to an already loaded card for Spring BreakThru, which features multiple high-stakes matches, including tournament bouts and another title match.
