Steve Austin Also Botched ATV Entrance at WrestleMania 41 – WrestleMania 41 delivered its share of memorable moments, but one that has become a significant topic backstage wasn’t part of the scripted drama. WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin made a surprise appearance on Night Two to announce the official attendance, but his signature ATV entrance didn’t go as planned—leading to multiple hiccups that caught the attention of both fans and staff.
As Austin made his entrance on his trademark four-wheeler, he attempted to drive up to the main stage but accidentally veered off-course. Instead of heading up the designated ramp, he drove into a dead-end space beneath the stage setup. Upon realizing the mistake, Austin tried to reverse the vehicle, but the ATV became stuck. WWE crew members rushed to the scene to assist, eventually freeing the vehicle and allowing Austin to resume his entrance.
Unfortunately, the chaos didn’t end there.
While circling the ringside area later in the segment, Austin appeared to lose control once again and crashed the ATV into the barricade. The impact visibly startled a woman sitting in the front row. WWE President Nick Khan was seen immediately approaching her to ensure she was unharmed and to check on her well-being following the jarring collision.
Although Austin’s appearance went on without further incident, the entire episode—from the botched entry path to the barricade bump—quickly became a point of conversation backstage. Numerous staff and talent reportedly discussed the incident after the show, noting both the unexpected technical slip and the fan safety concern that followed.
Despite the minor mishaps, Austin remained in good spirits and fulfilled his intended role at the event. His impromptu entrance blooper, however, will likely go down as one of the more bizarre—and buzzed-about—moments from WrestleMania 41.
