Seth Rollins Questions Roman Reigns and CM Punk’s Friendship with Paul Heyman – The April 7 episode of WWE RAW featured a tense exchange between Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman, leading to an all-out brawl with CM Punk just weeks ahead of their high-stakes triple threat match at WrestleMania 41.
The segment began with Heyman in the ring, addressing the complicated dynamic between himself, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk. Declaring his loyalty to both men, Heyman was interrupted by Rollins, who wasted no time questioning the so-called loyalty and friendship between Heyman and the two superstars he’s aligned with.
Rollins told Heyman this wasn’t about him, but rather the loyalty Heyman claims to have for both Reigns and Punk. He asked the question on everyone’s mind: Whose side are you really on?
Rollins accused Reigns of using Heyman merely as an assistant—someone to book his jets and shine his shoes—rather than respecting him as an advisor. He reminded everyone that Reigns didn’t stand by Heyman when he was left to be attacked by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline after WrestleMania last year.
He continued by turning his attention to Punk, calling him selfish and highlighting how he walked out of WWE ten years ago without Heyman. Rollins stated that Punk returned not out of friendship, but because he wanted a favor. Seth went as far as suggesting Punk was only chosen for the WarGames match as a last resort, claiming he was the original first choice.
With Heyman in the corner of the ring and no one left to protect him, Rollins threatened to take him out of the equation for good. Just as he was about to deliver a stomp, CM Punk’s music hit and the fight erupted.
Punk charged the ring and took Rollins down with a double-leg. The brawl spilled to the floor and over the announce table, with both men battling around ringside. Punk slammed Rollins into the steps, but once they returned to the ring, Rollins hit The Stomp on Punk.
Rollins prepared to deliver a second stomp, this time in front of Heyman, but stopped short. Instead, he leaned over and told Heyman, “You owe me a favor.”
The explosive segment left many questions heading into WrestleMania 41, especially surrounding where Heyman’s true allegiance lies—and whether his indecision could play a pivotal role in what’s being called a battle for the soul of WWE.
