Saraya Addresses WWE Return Talks – Former AEW star Saraya has addressed recent rumors linking her to a potential WWE return, clarifying that despite the speculation, there have been no discussions with the company at this time.
In an interview with WrestleZone, Saraya—who recently wrapped up a two-year stint with All Elite Wrestling—emphasized that her immediate focus is not on stepping back into a WWE ring, but rather on developing her personal business endeavors.
“That’s something that with this year, I kind of want to get all my business and stuff, deals out the way, like under my name and all that kind of stuff,” Saraya said. “Because I’m not — people think I’m going back to WWE or whatever, because there’s this huge rumor mill happening right now. But I haven’t spoken to them. At least not right now, I haven’t spoken to them.”
Although she acknowledged that a return to WWE is not off the table entirely, Saraya emphasized the importance of maintaining creative and personal freedom moving forward. A central point of contention during her previous WWE run was the company’s control over third-party platforms such as Twitch. Now, Saraya believes the landscape has changed for the better.
“I’m also focusing on my podcast, acting, all that kind of fun stuff too. I wouldn’t want it to affect my brand,” she said. “And I feel like WWE now is being more open and receptive to people doing outside stuff. They are much more comfortable with that and are much more accepting of that.”
She continued, “If I ever did go back, I feel like they would be understanding at this point and kind of let me do my thing. But, I’m not trying to do anything crazy, nothing too wild. But I do want to be able to have the freedom to do what I want. That’s so important to me, is to have freedom.”
Saraya also praised WWE’s current leadership under Paul “Triple H” Levesque, noting his improved relationship with talent and openness to outside projects.
“He is great with his talent. He is understanding, like I said, of things that people want to do outside of wrestling. And I think this new era is probably a lot of fun now.”
For now, Saraya remains focused on expanding her brand beyond the ring, including her podcast, acting roles, and other entrepreneurial ventures.
