Roman Reigns Cuts Intense Promo: “Don’t Trust Anyone” – As WrestleMania 41 approaches, Roman Reigns is sending a powerful message to the WWE Universe—and those closest to him.
Still processing the emotional “betrayal” of Paul Heyman siding with CM Punk, The Tribal Chief took to social media with a cold and introspective promo, reflecting on loyalty, power, and what he sees as the cost of lifting others up.
“It’s funny how much a year can change,” Reigns began. “This time last year, I was untouchable. I should’ve tightened my grip around this company’s neck. There’s a wise man that taught me diplomacy. You gotta think politically.”
That “wise man,” of course, is Heyman—now aligned with Reigns’ rival, Punk, heading into this weekend’s WrestleMania showdown. Reigns didn’t hold back as he recalled the lessons he’s taken from a year of change and perceived betrayal.
“I tried to help everyone. Most of them don’t understand what a helping hand really looks like, what that really feels like. What do I get for it? Netflix, TKO, mainstream, billion-dollar deals. And somehow I’m out on my ass. I lift everybody up, and somehow no one’s got enough respect to just be true to their Tribal Chief.”
Reigns also referenced a conversation with his father, WWE Hall of Famer Sika of The Wild Samoans, about respect and recognition.
“My father didn’t agree with me. He used to say, ‘Son, why do you care if they respect you? Why do you care if they acknowledge your talent and your contribution?’ Lessons learned. We don’t lose. We learn. Don’t trust anyone.”
Roman Reigns will face Seth Rollins and CM Punk in a triple-threat match in the main event of night one of WWE WrestleMania 41.
The promo highlights a darker, more guarded Roman Reigns—one that seems more dangerous than ever heading into the biggest weekend of the wrestling calendar.
