NXT Stars to Compete for Knockouts Tag-Team Championships at TNA Rebellion – TNA Rebellion 2025 continues to take shape following key developments on the April 17 episode of TNA iMPACT and the Countdown to TNA Unbreakable special.
TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella officially announced a Falls Count Anywhere match between Mike Santana and Mustafa Ali for the pay-per-view, which takes place on April 27 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The match was confirmed after weeks of escalating tension between the two stars, setting the stage for a chaotic and potentially show-stealing encounter.
Meanwhile, the Knockouts Tag-Team Championship picture saw a major shake-up following an inter-promotional tag match. WWE NXT’s Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley defeated Heather By Elegance and Maggie Lee on the Countdown to TNA Unbreakable broadcast. The aftermath unfolded backstage, where Heather By Elegance and George Iceman panicked over Ash By Elegance’s possible reaction to the loss.
Their anxiety was interrupted by Spitfire, who reminded them of their champions clause rematch. The situation quickly escalated with the arrival of WWE NXT’s Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend and Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley, both of whom demanded title opportunities. Overwhelmed by the confrontation, Heather blurted out a four-way match offer in frustration, shouting, “Just stop yelling at me!”
Later in the show, TNA confirmed that the Knockouts Tag-Team Titles will be defended in a Fatal Four-Way Match at Rebellion:
- Ash & Heather By Elegance (c)
- Spitfire
- The Meta Four (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend)
- Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley
Additionally, the field for the Ultimate X match at TNA Rebellion gained another competitor as KC Navarro defeated Cody Deaner in a qualifying bout. Navarro joins the growing list of challengers vying for the vacant TNA X-Division Championship.
