NXT Stand & Deliver Features Historic Level of Women’s Representation – This Saturday morning, the WWE NXT roster takes center stage at NXT Stand & Deliver, emanating from Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena just hours before WrestleMania 41. With a total of seven matches scheduled across the pre-show and main card, this year’s Stand & Deliver is already historic—particularly for the women of NXT.
According to NXT writer’s assistant Colby Applegate, the 2025 event will mark the first time in WWE PLE history—outside of a Royal Rumble—where female competitors outnumber their male counterparts. Applegate addressed the significance on social media, writing:
“The complaints were inevitable because you can’t please everybody… But what I hope gets recognized is that – for the first time ever – there are more women than men getting the opportunity to show out at Stand & Deliver on Saturday.”
This year’s event will feature 18 women across three matches, compared to 15 men. It’s a first for any NXT TakeOver or premium live event, and it signals a growing commitment to women’s wrestling within the brand.
The show will begin with a Fatal 4-Way tag team bout during the pre-show. Meta-Four (Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson), Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jacy Jayne), Tatum Paxley & Gigi Dolin, and Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade will battle for a future WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship opportunity.
On the main card, Stephanie Vaquer will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Jordynne Grace, Giulia, and Jaida Parker in a high-profile Fatal 4-Way. Another spotlight match will crown the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion in a six-woman ladder match featuring Zaria, Kelani Jordan, Sol Ruca, Izzi Dame, Lola Vice, and Thea Hail.
With historic representation and multiple title implications, NXT Stand & Deliver promises to be a landmark event in the evolution of WWE’s women’s division.
