NXT Sees Viewership Increase for April 8 Episode on The CW – The Tuesday, April 8, 2025 episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network experienced a noticeable boost in viewership and key demographic ratings.
According to data provided by Programming Insider, the show drew 683,000 total viewers, up from the 650,000 viewers who tuned in the previous week on April 1. The week-to-week gain of 33,000 viewers reflects growing interest in NXT programming as the brand heads toward the Stand & Deliver premium live event.
In the all-important 18–49 demographic, NXT delivered a 0.17 rating, marking an increase from the 0.15 rating the show recorded on April 1. This uptick in the key demo is a promising sign for WWE and The CW, suggesting the Tuesday night show is holding its audience while gradually attracting new viewers in a highly competitive TV landscape.
This week’s episode featured a major six-man tag team main event, as the dark faction known as Darkstate scored an upset victory over NXT Champion Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans. The result stunned fans and added fuel to the current landscape of rivalries within the brand.
With Stand & Deliver approaching on April 19, the show has been building momentum through both in-ring storytelling and increasing mainstream attention, including the presence of WWE Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer at ringside and the rise of talents like Sol Ruca, who just earned a title shot on WWE Speed.
As WWE continues its transition on network television through its new deal with The CW, these week-over-week increases in viewership and demographic strength could signal long-term success for NXT on its new home.
