New Segments Announced for 4/18 WWE SmackDown – Toight’s final episode of WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania 41 is set to deliver a packed show from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. With just one night left before the biggest event of the year kicks off, WWE has lined up major appearances, title matches, and exclusive interviews to close out the Road to WrestleMania in style.
SmackDown commentator Wade Barrett took to social media earlier today to announce a new addition to tonight’s broadcast — a special sit-down interview with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. The segment is expected to offer insight into Stratton’s mindset ahead of her title defense against Charlotte Flair on Night One of WrestleMania 41.
Barrett also previously confirmed he conducted a similar interview with Charlotte Flair, which will also air tonight, providing fans with both champion and challenger perspectives ahead of one of the most anticipated matches of the weekend.
In addition to those interviews, tonight’s SmackDown will feature multiple marquee segments and matches, including appearances from John Cena and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Both men are slated to compete in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night Two, and their presence tonight is expected to set the tone for that blockbuster showdown.
The 2025 edition of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal will also take place, bringing together a host of WWE Superstars looking to make a final impact before WrestleMania. On the tag team front, the Street Profits will defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against former IMPACT and NJPW standouts, the Motor City Machine Guns.
Additionally, fans will see six-woman tag team action as Chelsea Green, Alba Fyre, and Piper Niven take on Zelina Vega, Kayden Carter, and Katana Chance.
SmackDown airs live tonight at 8/7c on the USA Network, serving as WWE’s last televised stop before WrestleMania 41 officially kicks off this Saturday.
