LIVE 4/7 WWE RAW Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage of WWE RAW for April 7, live from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
We see some Superstar arrival shots as Michael Cole welcomes us to the show and mentions some action in store for tonight.
The camera settles at the commentary desk, where Cole and Pat McAfee talk about returning to the U.S. for tonight’s Raw for the first time in three weeks. A video package is shown to recap the situation involving the WWE Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania 41.
After the package wraps up, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is introduced in the ring. He is standing next to a podium with the WWE Women’s World Championship sitting on it. He brings up the chaotic scene surrounding the title picture heading into this year’s shows on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”
With that said, reigning title-holder IYO SKY is introduced and she makes her way out to the ring. Her current opponent for WrestleMania 41, “The EST of WWE” Bianca Belair, is introduced next, and out she comes to join her in the ring. Pearce then mistakenly introduces Rhea Ripley as being “from Judgment Day.” Whoops!
Anyways, Ripley makes her way out with an angry look on her face.
Adam thanks them and he says that he takes responsibility for whta happened last week. He says he was wrong to make Bianca the referee because he thought they could handle this like professionals. Adam says he was wrong. Adam says the title will be defended in a Triple Threat Match.
Bianca says this should have pissed her off a few weeks ago, but she did it through blood sweat, and tears. Rhea wants to be added to the match. She doesn’t care any more. She says that she is not going anywhere and she is not scared of Rhea. She says she watched two of her closest friends try to tear themselves apart. She says she can overcome a triple threat match. She says she will walk out of Wrestlemania s the champion.
Bianca signs the contract. Rhea is handed the contract and she signs it. Rhea tosses the contract to Bianca and they push Iyo away one more time. Iyo throws down the microphone and she leaves the ring while Rhea begs for Bianca to hit her. Iyo with a springboard drop kick that sends Rhea into Bianca and then Iyo signs the contract.
– We take a look at what happened last week in the tag match that saw Finn Balor pin Penta. Now we will have a Fatal Four Way match for the Intercontinental Title at Wrestlemania.
Backstage:
We go to Judgment Day and Finn is not happy. Dom says he can’t believe it and Liv says it is great. Liv says the more the merrier and now it makes it easier for Judgment Day to win the title. Finn says people don’t think that Dom has the killer instinct to win at Wrestlemania. He tells Dom good luck by himself against Penta.
Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria for the Intercontinental Championship
They lock up and Lyra with a rollup for a near fall. Bayley with a rollup for a near fall. Bayley with a side head lock and Lyra with a take down. Lyra with a head lock and a snap mare. Bayley with a side head lock and Bayley with a rollup for a near fall. Lyra with a waist lock and Bayley with a standing switch. Lyra with a standing switch and take down. Bayley with a reversal. Bayley with a rollup for a near fall.
Bayley with a knee to Lyra and she tries for a sunset flip power bomb but Lyra blocks it and gets a near fall. Lyra with an uppercut and kicks followed by a drop toe hold and a drop kick. Lyra with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Lyra floats over on an Irish whip and she takes down Bayley and goes for a rocking horse and she swings Bayley. Lyra gets a near fall.
Lyra misses a spinning heel kick but Bayley misses a shoulder and goes to the floor. Lyra with a drop kick through the ropes. Lyra goes up top after sending Bayley back into the ring. Lyra with a cross body for a near fall. Lyra with forearms on the floor. Lyra Irish whips Bayley into the ringside barrier.
Lyra goes up top and Bayley pulls Lyra off and Lyra hits the turnbuckle going to the mat. Bayley with an elbow drop to the back and she gets a near fall. Bayley with knees to the back. Lyra with shoulders and Bayley with a knee to send Lyra to the mat. Bayley with a forearm to the back and a cross body to the back for a near fall. Bayley with a single leg crab.
Lyra kicks Bayley away to escape the hold. Lyra with a forearm and Bayley fires back. They continue the exchange. Bayley sends Lyra to the apron and hits a cutter in the ropes. Lyra falls to the floor and Bayley with a baseball slide through the corner to Lyra. Bayley misses a suicide dive and Bayley goes to the floor. Lyra goes for a drop kick through the ropes and Bayley catches Lyra and hits a belly-to-belly suplex on the floor.
Bayley gets Lyra on her shoulders but Lyra counters with an arm drag and an enzuigiri. Lyra with a Doctor Bomb for a near fall. Lyra gets Bayley on her shoulders and Lyra with a knee. Bayley escapes again and Bayley with a knee to the head for a near fall. Bayley goes for a superplex but Lyra blocks it and goes under. Lyra sets for a power bomb but Bayley escapes. Bayley with a sunset flip power bomb into the turnbuckles.
Bayley kick Lyra. Lyra with a tornado DDT followed by a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Lyra goes up top and blocks a missile drop kick. Bayley with a Boston Crab. Lyra crawls to the ropes but Bayley pulls her into the center of the ring. Bayley goes for Rose Plant but Lyra blocks it and gets the three count with a jackknife cover.
Winner: Lyra Valkyria
After the match, Lyra offers her hand but Bayley slaps it away, but she returns to the ring to hug Lyra.
Backstage:
Cathy Kelley is with Bert Kreischer to talk about his new Netflix special. Chad Gable shows up with American Made and he says that he is a big fan. Chad says he is not competing tonight, but they get to see his boys take down the LWO along with Grande Americano. Bert says he didn’t come to see them. Alpha Academy shows up and Otis takes off his shirt and so does Bert.
- Cathy is with Ludwig Kaiser. She asks him what will he do at Wrestlemania. Kaiser says what is on everyone’s mind since last week. He is still the fastest rising superstar in WWE whether you like it or not. Adam favors others over him because he is without a Wrestlemania match. If that isn’t going to be solved soon, there will be serious consequences. Cathy asks if that is a threat to anyone. Kaiser says last week was a threat. Tonight is a promise.
Backstage:
Jackie asks AJ Styles about what Logan Paul did and where is his head. AJ says he is in a good place. He gets to embarrass Logan Paul on the grandest stage of them all because you can’t beat experience. Karrion Kross asks AJ how did experience work last week. Kross says he wants to AJ and get the AJ Styles who will get the job done. Kross says if AJ loses, we all lose. AJ tells Kross he will give him a taste next week.
Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz del Toro vs. Grande Americano, Julius Creed, and Brutus Creed
Brutus and Wilde start things off. Brutus with a take down and Brutus with a hammer lock and Wilde with a flying mare and Brutus with a shoulder tackle. Julius tags in and Wilde with an arm drag. Cruz tags in and they hit a double back elbow and then Crus sends Wilde onto Julius for a near fall. Wilde with a head scissors and a cross arm breaker take down. Everyone gets in the ring. Wilde, Lee, and Cruz with clotheslines to the Creeds and Grande followed by a triple drop kick. They hit a stereo plancha onto everyone on the floor.
Wilde and Lee tag in and everyone goes up top but Wilde and Cruz are stopped. The Creeds and Americano hit superplexes. Julius with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and Grande tags in. Grande with step over leg drops and he works on the leg some more. Grande with punches to Lee. Brutus tags in and he hits a shoulder into the corner.
Brutus with a knee drop. Brutus with a suplex to Lee for a near fall. Julius with a reverse chin lock. Lee with punches but Julius with a punch to Lee and a knee to Wilde. Julius with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Lee stops Brutus. Julius goes for a superplex but Lee gets Julius in the tree of woe and hits a double stomp. Cruz tags in and he hits a cross body on Brutus and he knocks Grande off the apron. Crzu with a head scissors to both Creeds. Cruz with a kick to Brutus and a swinging suplex. Cruz goes up top and hits a swanton and a suicide dive to Julius.
Grande runs into a kick and Cruz with a springboard move but Grande moves. Grande with a rollup for a near fall. Cruz with a kick and Lee tags in. Lee gets Grande up and Cruz goes for a blockbuster but Grande counters with a Spanish Fly. Lee with a punch to Grande and Lee with a sit out power bomb but Julius breaks up the cover with a shooting star press. Cruz sends Wilde onto Brutus on the floor and Cruz clotheslines Julius over the top rope. Cruz with a twisting plancha.
Ivy hands Grande something to put in his mak. Rey gets on the apron and tells Grande he saw what he did. Grande head butts Rey off the apron. Lee crotches Grande and Grande with a head butt and a diving head butt for the three count.
Winners: Grande Americano, Julius Creed, and Brutus Creed
– We see what happened last week between The Usos and Gunther.
- Jackie is with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. She asks about the gauntlet match on Smackdown to see who their opponents will be. Raquel says who cares who is in the field. They will all be embarrassed on the biggest stage of them all by the best women’s tag team champions. Liv asks Jackie for the teams in the match. Liv says those teams are great but not as great as them.
In the Arena:
Gunther makes his way to the ring, but before he can speak, Jey Uso’s music interrupts.
Jey walks up to Gunther and he slaps Gunther’s mic away.
Jey tries to do everything possible not to strike Gunther. Jey takes off his sunglasses while Gunther laughs.
Jey tells Gunther that he has a mother. Do you talk to your mom? Jey asks what do they talk about? Family stuff? How are the wife and grandson doing? Did you cook dinner? What did you eat? Regular family stuff? Jey says he has a mother too. He wants to tell Gunther what he had to tell her this week. He told her that her oldest son is laid up in a hospital bed with fifteen stitches across his forehead. Jey says she asked him why didn’t you protect him Joshua. He says he will never lie to her and he says that he was afraid of Gunther.
You had him. You had the drop on him. You were playing chess while he was playing checkers. You got his family involved and you know how he fees about his family, especially Jimmy. You violated my brother and left him a bloody pulp while you bloodied him up. Now his blood is on his hands.
He says he is disrespected, pissed off, angry, and scared. You made the whole world stop. You violated his twin in front of him. The crazy thing is that in his darkest moment and time in front of the world, a light bulb went off. Ain’t that something. Jey says he realized he is not afraid of Gunther no more.
Jey says before Wrestlemania, hug and kiss your family. Before Wrestlemania, the night before, he is going to lay his head down and he is going to say a prayer. He is going to pray for Gunther and for him. He is going to ask the lord to forgive him for the man he is going to become. He says he will get Gunther for him, Jimmy, and his whole damn family. He says he will take the World Championship.

Backstage:
Adam is with Natalya and Maxxine and Natalya is hesitant about working with Maxxine. Rey shows up and Pearce says he will give Rey a match against Gable. Rey says he doesn’t want Gable, he wants Grande Americano. Rey asks for a match at Wrestlemania and Adam gives him the match.
WWE World Tag Team Championships
War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (c) vs. New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
Kofi wtih a side head lock and Ivar with a shoulder tackle. Kofi goes to the floor to avoid a punch. Woods with kick to Erik and Erik with a chop. Woods with forearms and kicks. Erik with a foeram and Ivar tags in and he hits a side slam on Kofi followed by a splash. Kofi escapes Erik but Erik with a slam and he slams Woods. Ivar slams Kofi and Erik slams Ivar onto Kofi.
Woods is sent over the top rope to the floor but Woods with a back elbow. Woods grabs a chair and Erik punches Woods. Ivar sends Kofi into the ringside barrier. Ivar with a cross body against a chair against Woods against the ringside barrier. Iver with a second one to Woods. Ivar with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Ivar misses a bronco buster when Woods pulls Kofi out of the way. Woods tags in.
Woods with a forearm off the turnbuckles and he follows with punches. Kofi tags in and they make a wish. Kofi gets a near fall. Woods tags in and they make another wish. Kofi chokes Ivar in the ropes while Woods distracts the referee. Woods with a drop kick to the back against the ropes.
Woods with a forearm into the corner. Woods with punches in the corner. Woods misses a splash into the corner and they are both down. Kofi and Erik tag in and Erik with forearms and an exploder. Erik with a tilt-a-whirl gutbuster and a knee to Woods. Eirk with a uranage to Kofi. Ivar tags in and they hit the alley oop power slam and they set for War Machine and hit but Woods breaks it up. Woods grabs a chair.
Ivar and Woods fight over the chair and Ivar hits Woods. The referee calls for the bell.
Winners by DQ: Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods
After the match, Kofi hits Ivar with the chair and Woods and Kofi work over Erik. They put a chair in the turnbuckles and they send Erik into the chair. Woods sets up a chair in the ring and he puts Erik on the chair. Kofi sets for a double stomp onto the chair but security and officials come out to stop Kofi and Woods.
Penta vs. Dominik Mysterio
They lock up and Petna backs Dom into the corner. Penta with a clean break and Dom pushes Penta. Penta with a waist lock and Dom with a standing switch and more standing switches. Dom with a kick and punches. Dom with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Penta with punches and Dom with a kick and punch. Dom punches Penta in the corner. Penta with a head scissors take down and a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Penta with a wraparound bulldog. Petna goes up top and he hits a cross body onto Dom and Carlito.
Penta with a chop and he kicks Dom from the apron. Carlito distracts Penta and Dom sends Penta into the ring post. Dom kicks Penta in the corner. Dom with a springboard boot to Penta followed by a slingshot senton for a near fall. Dom puts Penta on the turnbuckles and Penta with punches to stop Dom. Dom with punches on the turnbuckles.
They exchange forearms and chops. Dom with a chop and they exchange forearms. Penta punches Dom to the mat and he comes off the turnbuckles but Dom with a kick and he sets for the Three Amigos and he hits it. Dom gets a near fall. Dom with a drop kick to the knee and Penta goes into the ropes. Penta with a super kick and a kick in the coner. Penta with a headstand hesitation kick in the corner for a near fall.
enta sets for the Penta Driver but Dom escapes and hits a destroyer. Dom drop kicks Penta into the ropes and hits a 619. Dom goes for a frog splash but Penta gets his knees up and he gets a near fall. Dom gets Penta on his shoulders but Petna with elbows and he escapes. Penta hyper-extends the arm and then hits Sacrifice. Penta with a Penta Driver for the three count.
Winner: Penta
After the match, Carlito attacks Penta and he hits a lungblower. Carlito punches Penta.
Bron Breakker’s music plays and the attack stop, because of Rule 41.3. Carilto goes up the aisle and Bron with a spear. Bron sees Dom in the ring and Bron with a spear to Dom. Bron looks around and he sets for a spear on Penta and he hits it.
Finn Balor shows up behind Bron and hits a GTR. Finn holds up the title belt and he turns around in time to see Bron come at him for a spear. Finn gets out of the way.
– Next week, AJ Styles faces Karrion Kross. Roman Reigns will be on Raw.
In the Arena:
Chad Gable makes his way onto the stage with the Creeds and Ivy.
He says he wanted to apologize because he knew that you came to see the best thing about Minneapolis. He says you got to see his boys along with El Grande Americano in action. Since Rey made the mistake to challenge him, Chad will enjoy seeing Rey put down by the greatest luchadore ever.
Paul Heyman walks to the ring.
Paul introduces himself. He says he wants to state a few things for the record to move on to Wrestlemania. Paul says he will always be loyal to Roman Reigns. Paul says he will always be loyal to his best friend in the world, CM Punk. Just because he is loyal to both of them does not mean he will ever in his life be disloyal to either of them. When it comes to Wrestlemania, let’s get one thing perfectly clear…
Seth welcomes everyone to Raw and he tells us who he is. Seth says it is not about him. It is about Paul Heyman. You are talking about loyalty and that is why he wanted to say hi. He wanted to ask the question on everyone’s mind. Whose side are you on? Are you going to be the best friend to CM Punk, or are you the special counsel and wise man to Roman Reigns? Seth says he hears Paul and he is trying to convince everyone that he can do both at the same time. Seth says it occurred to him that you are neither. Seth says he knows Paul will give the spiel. Roman doesn’t give a damn about you. Roman uses you and he likes you to shine his shoes and book his private jets and order his steaks. Roman Reigns doesn’t respect you. Seth asks Paul if he needs a history lesson. Last year at Wrestlemania, Roman lost the title because of someone in the ring with Paul. Roman disappears and does Roman take you with him? No, Roman left you in the loving care of his family, Solo Sikoa. Did they treat you well? Were they kind to you? They treated you like you were the scum of the Earth. We were waiting to see if Roman was going to save Paul.
Did Roman save you? No, he left you to get massacred in your home town in front of your children. They had to watch their father being put through a table because Roman Reigns wasn’t there to help you. Do you know who else wasn’t there to help you? CM Punk. Best friends are there for you and they don’t use you. Punk walked out ten years ago, did he take you with him? He tried to tear down everything that Paul tried to build. Did Punk come back because you asked? They love to reminisce about War Game. Punk was not the first choice for the team, it was him. Seth says he declined while Punk wasn’ the first choice, he was the last choice. Did he join out of the goodness of his heart? He did it because he knew he could get a favor out of Paul.
Punk is not your best friend. Punk loves no one but himself. Seth says he feels bad for Paul. He is in a difficult position. The easiest solution would be to remove yourself from the situation and let them battle it out for the soul of this industry. Seth says you can’t do that? or you won’t do that? You won’t betray Roman or Punk. Seth says if only there was a solution or a way they could remove Paul from the situation.
Seth tells Paul it is for his own good. He says he would take it as a priviledge to remove you from the situation right here, right now. It will be quick and easy. A boot to the head and one stomp and it will be over. Nobody is here to save you. Roman isn’t here to save you. Punk, is not here to make friends, he is here to make money. Seth asks how much are you worth? Are you worth that much (and he pushes Paul). Are you worth that muh (as he slaps Paul). He pushes Paul.
Paul tells Seth not to put his damn hands on him again.
Seth backs Paul into the corner and CM Punk’s music plays and the attack stops.
Punk wtih a double leg take down and they fight to the floor. Punk sends Rollins over the announce table. They fight against the ringside barrier and the drink station falls. Seth wtih a take down but Punk sends Seth into the ring steps. Punk punches Seth a few times. Seth gets back into the ring and he hits Black Out on Punk. Seth almost stomps on Punk again but he stops short of Paul.
Seth tells Paul he owes him a favor.

4/7 WWE RAW Preview
The WWE World Tag Team Championship will be on the line tonight as The War Raiders defend their titles against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day. This marks the champions’ first televised defense since their victory over The Creed Brothers. Last week, New Day defeated New Catch Republic before coming face-to-face with Erik and Ivar in a tense post-match stare down.
Bayley is set to challenge Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Valkyria retained her title against Zoey Stark at a live event on March 30, and tonight marks her first televised defense since then. Despite previously losing a Number One Contender’s Match to Raquel Rodriguez on March 10, Bayley steps into this opportunity following her growing alliance with Valkyria.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is expected to address the future of the WrestleMania 41 Women’s World Title match between IYO SKY and Bianca Belair.
