Kairi Sane Nearing WWE Return – Kairi Sane appears to be nearing a WWE in-ring return after being sidelined due to injury. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion was removed from the Women’s Intercontinental Title tournament in December 2024, and although details were initially scarce, it was later reported that she suffered an arm injury.
A couple of weeks ago, Sane took to Twitter to share a positive and detailed update, revealing the true nature of her injury and her recovery progress:
“Three months ago, I tore a ligament in my thumb and couldn’t even open a bottle cap. Now, I’ve fully regained my grip strength—and I’m even stronger than before. I’m truly grateful from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Hirsch, who performed my surgery. He was such a kind and wonderful doctor. I wish I had taken a photo with him to remember that moment.”
While WWE has not officially confirmed a return date, reports from PWInsider indicate that Sane was present backstage during WrestleMania 41 weekend in Las Vegas and is expected to be cleared to return “anytime.” The timing would position her well to re-enter WWE storylines as the company begins building toward summer events like Money in the Bank.
Sane’s presence at WrestleMania, even if not on-screen, signals confidence from WWE officials that her return is imminent. She last competed regularly as part of the Damage CTRL faction before being sidelined, and her comeback could impact ongoing storylines within the women’s division, particularly with the Women’s Intercontinental Title picture still taking shape.
We at WrestlingAttitude.Com wish Kairi Sane continued strength and a successful in-ring return.
