Josh Alexander Makes AEW Debut – Josh Alexander has officially arrived in All Elite Wrestling. The former TNA World Champion made a surprise debut as the Wild Card entrant in the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament on the April 16 episode of AEW Dynamite: Spring BreakThru, held in Boston, Massachusetts.
Alexander stepped in to face Hangman Adam Page in tournament action. Despite a strong showing, Alexander came up short in the match. However, the real shock came after the bell.
As Page began to regroup on the entrance ramp, Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher made their way to the ring. Fletcher immediately engaged in a brawl with Page while Callis approached Alexander and whispered something into his ear. Just as Page was setting up for the Buckshot Lariat, Alexander blindsided him with a surprise attack from behind. He then quickly exited up the ramp, leaving Page vulnerable for Fletcher to finish off with a vicious Brainbuster.
This post-match development all but confirmed Alexander as the newest member of the Don Callis Family, a growing faction known for its manipulation and high-impact recruits.
Alexander’s debut in AEW follows his emotional exit from TNA Wrestling earlier this year. The Canadian grappler left the company at TNA Genesis after losing a brutal “I Quit” match against Mike Santana. He later reiterated his departure during the January 23 live episode of TNA IMPACT!, marking the end of an era and opening the door for new opportunities.
Now aligned with Don Callis, Alexander looks poised to make waves in AEW’s evolving landscape, with his shocking debut setting the tone for what’s to come.
