Ethan Page Returns to TNA, Added to TNA Rebellion Title Match – As we noted last week following the company TV tapings, Ethan Page made his highly anticipated return to TNA Wrestling on the April 3rd episode of TNA iMPACT!, making an immediate impact on the TNA Championship picture.
During the show, Frankie Kazarian took to the ring to announce that he was invoking his right to challenge for the TNA Championship at TNA Rebellion. However, his moment was interrupted by Page, who shocked the audience by revealing that he had already signed the contract to face Joe Hendry for the title at the event.
Kazarian, visibly frustrated, attempted to attack Page, but Page was ready, countering with a well-placed kick to the face. Later in the show, TNA confirmed that the championship bout at TNA Rebellion will now be a triple threat match, with Hendry defending his title against both Page and Kazarian.
This marks Page’s first appearance in TNA/IMPACT since TNA Hard To Kill 2021, where his alter-ego, The Karate Man, “killed” him in a cinematic match. Following his departure from IMPACT, Page went on to sign with AEW, where he competed for several years before ultimately returning to TNA. Now back in the company where he first made a name for himself, Page is wasting no time inserting himself into the championship scene.
The addition of Page to the title match significantly changes the landscape of TNA Rebellion. Kazarian was initially expecting a one-on-one opportunity against Hendry, but now he must contend with the returning Page, a former two-time IMPACT Tag Team Champion known for his ruthless in-ring style. Meanwhile, Hendry, who has been riding a wave of momentum as TNA Champion, now finds himself in an even greater challenge as he defends his title against two opponents.
With TNA Rebellion quickly approaching, all eyes will be on this triple threat match to see whether Hendry can retain, if Kazarian can capitalize on his veteran experience, or if Page will complete his return with championship gold.
