CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins Set for Live Appearance on SmackDown – WWE returns to the U.S. tonight following its European tour, bringing a stacked episode of SmackDown as the road to WrestleMania 41 continues. The show takes place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois — marking a homecoming for CM Punk.
Set to appear live tonight are CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. Their highly anticipated triple threat match was recently confirmed as the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night One, adding extra intrigue to their appearances tonight.
In newly announced matches, a WWE Tag Team title No. 1 Contender’s bout will see Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) face DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa). The winning team earns a future shot at current champions, The Street Profits.
Another No. 1 Contender’s match will determine the next challenger for LA Knight’s United States Championship. Jacob Fatu is scheduled to battle Braun Strowman. While this match was originally announced with a Last Man Standing stipulation, it’s unclear if that still applies tonight.
Also on the card, Naomi will go one-on-one with B-Fab, and former AEW star Rey Fenix is set to make his official WWE debut.
