CM Punk Reveals Major WrestleMania 41 Favor: Paul Heyman to Be in His Corner

CM Punk Reveals Major WrestleMania 41 Favor: Paul Heyman to Be in His Corner – CM Punk made a shocking revelation on the April 4th episode of WWE SmackDown, announcing that Paul Heyman will be in his corner at WrestleMania 41. This announcement left Roman Reigns seething and Seth Rollins in fits of laughter, setting the stage for an explosive showdown at WWE’s biggest event of the year.

In the show’s closing segment, Roman Reigns stormed down to the ring, visibly furious, as he confronted Punk. Reigns quickly made it clear that Punk would never have returned to WWE or found himself in the main event of WrestleMania without his influence. Reigns took a shot at Punk, calling him out to the ring — but instead, it was Seth Rollins who answered the call.

Rollins wasted no time taking shots at Reigns, mocking him for living in denial. He reminded Reigns of past WrestleMania moments, including when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania 31 and when Reigns turned on Rollins at WrestleMania XL, costing him a match against Cody Rhodes. Rollins, with his signature sarcasm, warned Reigns that his failure to deal with Punk would now have serious consequences.

“You either adapt or you get left behind,” Rollins quipped, adding more fuel to the fire.

Reigns, who was clearly agitated, shot back at Rollins, accusing him of being untrustworthy. He recounted how he reluctantly accepted Punk’s involvement in WarGames at the behest of Paul Heyman but made it clear that he was calling out Punk — not Rollins.

At that moment, Punk made his entrance, walking down the aisle to join Reigns, Rollins, and Heyman in the ring. He wasted no time explaining the meaning behind his favor, claiming that it was all about keeping promises and loyalty. Punk revealed that his bond with Paul Heyman went way back to his early days in WWE, when “they” — the higher-ups in the company — told Heyman that Punk was trouble. He recalled a conversation with Heyman after Heyman was fired by WWE, where he asked, “What’s going to happen to me?” Heyman’s response? “When you main event WrestleMania, force them to deal with us.”

With “them” no longer in power, Punk vowed to force Roman Reigns to deal with him at WrestleMania 41 by having Heyman in his corner. Reigns, clearly skeptical, tried to dismiss the announcement, telling Heyman to let Punk down. Reigns implored Heyman, “Tell him no.” However, to Reigns’ surprise, Heyman admitted he couldn’t say no, and in that moment, Punk delivered a shocking GTS (Go to Sleep) to Reigns, sending him crashing to the mat.

The segment ended with Punk squaring up to Rollins, who was seen laughing throughout the whole ordeal. However, Rollins eventually backed away, seemingly enjoying the chaos without getting directly involved.

Earlier in the night, Punk had teased that he would personally reveal the favor to Reigns, but it was clear that Heyman had already accepted it — regardless of what the favor was. The stage is now set for a high-stakes encounter at WrestleMania 41, as Punk, Heyman, and Reigns all prepare for the ultimate showdown.
