CM Punk Promises to Speak on RAW – Following a stunning betrayal in the main event of WrestleMania 41 – Night 1, CM Punk has broken his silence. In a post-show interview with ESPN’s Daniel Cormier, Punk addressed the shocking actions of longtime friend and manager Paul Heyman, who turned on him during the match and directly contributed to his defeat.
Clearly emotional and still processing the events, Punk urged fans to watch Monday Night RAW on Netflix, where he promised to speak further on the betrayal.
“I got a lot of thoughts, I got a lot of feelings, and you best believe I’m gonna make everybody tune into Monday Night Raw on Netflix tomorrow night to find out if I have anything to say. When I’m gonna say it, it’s gonna be tomorrow night,” Punk said.
Punk didn’t shy away from confronting his history with Heyman, reminding viewers that this wasn’t the first time he had been backstabbed by the “Wiseman.”
“But, listen, Paul Heyman, I knew who he was just like he knows who I am. We’ve been friends for a very, very long time. He’s done this to me before. Threw a ladder into my head, and I got 13 staples in my head because of it, so he knows what’s coming.”
Reflecting on the emotional weight of main-eventing WrestleMania, Punk shared how he had chosen to trust Heyman one more time — a decision he now deeply regrets.
“He made his decision just like I made my decision to bet on, again, ‘Maybe, hey, let’s try to do this’ because to me, me main eventing WrestleMania was important to me and I needed to share it with somebody who got me there, somebody who never gave up on me. But now he’s turned on me.”
Punk’s WrestleMania appearance marked his first match since the Royal Rumble, and the betrayal by Heyman has already become one of the most talked-about moments of the weekend. With Punk promising to speak out on RAW, fans are anticipating a major confrontation and possibly a clearer explanation of Heyman’s motives.
All eyes now turn to Monday night, as Punk prepares to address the WWE Universe — and Paul Heyman — in what could be a pivotal moment in his WWE return.
