Charlotte Flair Opens Up About Divorce and Personal Struggles – Charlotte Flair has spoken candidly about her recent divorce from Andrade, sharing her emotional journey in a new interview. Flair filed for divorce in June 2024, and it was finalized in October of the same year. While news of the split surfaced in February 2025 through TMZ, she had managed to keep it private for months.
During an appearance on Sherri with Sherri Shepherd, Flair opened up about the personal and professional toll the divorce took on her.
“I felt like I was failing at my job. I felt like I was failing at my personal life. And the embarrassment of being divorced again. And then being compared to my father… When I made the decision to file for divorce, the only thing I kept thinking was I just didn’t want anyone to know.”
She admitted that the situation weighed heavily on her, causing her to doubt herself.
“Oh, my gosh, I have failed again.”
Flair and Andrade began dating in 2019, got engaged in 2020, and were married in Mexico in 2022. Their relationship was often in the public eye, but Flair managed to keep the divorce under wraps until news leaked shortly after her Royal Rumble victory earlier this year.
Flair is now focused on WrestleMania 41, where she is set to challenge for the WWE Women’s Championship. Despite the personal struggles, she remains one of WWE’s top stars heading into the biggest event of the year.
