Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton Have Had Ongoing Issues – Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair ignited major buzz during their segment on this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown, delivering off-script remarks that quickly went viral—and now, sources say real-life tension has been building between the two for weeks.
The confrontation took a personal turn when Stratton declared, “You’re always going to come second to your daddy, Ric Flair,” and followed it up with the pointed jab, “When it’s all said and done, you’re gonna be just like you are outside of the ring — alone.” She then referenced Flair’s real-life relationship history, asking, “What is that record? 0-3?” before Charlotte fired back with, “Is that why Kaiser’s in my DMs?”
These final lines were notably absent from WWE’s official digital recaps. While parts of the segment were posted to social media and YouTube, WWE edited out the unscripted comments. However, USA Network’s official channels reportedly shared the uncut footage, adding to the viral momentum.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there has been tension between Flair and Stratton for at least two weeks leading up to the segment. Dave Meltzer explained:
“There have been problems between the two for about two weeks. So people knew about it… Charlotte is getting—or Ashley is getting more of the blame, and probably deservedly so, but they both are getting blamed for it.”
Meltzer also noted the contrast in how similar situations would be received in AEW, pointing out a perceived double standard in fan and media reactions depending on the company involved.
In related news, Ludwig Kaiser has now responded to being mentioned on WWE SmackDown. He took to Twitter, tagged Charlotte Flair, and posted a video of Shawn Michaels telling Diana Smith, “Please do not flatter yourself.”
At this time, WWE has not issued any official statement about the segment or whether any disciplinary actions are being considered.
