
All Elite Wrestling has officially announced AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, a landmark event set to take place on Wednesday, June 18 at the legendary Arena México in Mexico City. This will mark AEW’s first-ever event in Mexico, and the company will co-promote the show with CMLL.
The special edition of AEW Dynamite will air live on TBS in the United States, Fox Sports Mexico, and will stream on Max. Tickets for the event will go on sale beginning Saturday, April 26 at 10 a.m. local time, and will be available through AEWTix.com and Ticketmaster.com.mx.
AEW released the following statement:
“All Elite Wrestling and CMLL will bring AEW Grand Slam: Mexico to historic Arena México in Mexico City on Wednesday, June 18. This marks the first time an AEW event has ever been held in Mexico.”

One of AEW’s top international stars, Will Ospreay, reacted enthusiastically to the news on social media, saying: “Been looking forward to this for so long.” Ospreay, who has competed around the globe and maintains a strong following in Latin America, is expected to play a major role in the event.
AEW’s continued global expansion sees the company further strengthening its ties with international promotions like CMLL while tapping into passionate wrestling markets such as Mexico. Arena México, known as the “Cathedral of Lucha Libre,” has hosted countless legendary matches and now adds AEW to its historic lineage.
