AEW Collision Viewership Sees Decline on April 17 – The April 17th episode of AEW Collision, titled Spring BreakThru, marked a noticeable decline in both viewership and ratings. The special, which aired on a Thursday instead of its usual Saturday spot due to the NHL Playoffs, attracted 353,000 viewers on TNT. This was a significant drop from the 455,000 viewers the show brought in the previous week when it aired in its regular timeslot.
The viewership decline was accompanied by a decrease in the key 18-49 demographic rating. This week, the show scored a 0.08 rating, down from the previous episode’s 0.12 demo rating. The timing shift to Thursday, which is not typically a high-viewership day for AEW, could be a contributing factor to the lower numbers.
Despite the drop, the episode managed to finish eighth on cable for the night. While this is a fall in viewership compared to prior weeks, AEW Collision still managed to perform reasonably well in its revised time slot.
