Adam Cole Discusses Potential Expansion of Paragon – Adam Cole is satisfied with Paragon’s current direction but isn’t closing the door on potential new members joining the group down the line.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Battleground Podcast, Cole addressed the idea of expanding Paragon’s roster, which currently consists of himself, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong. The faction recently rebranded from the Undisputed Kingdom to Paragon following the departure of Mike Bennett and Matt Taven, who returned to Ring of Honor full-time to reform The Kingdom.
Reflecting on the group’s current state, Cole said:
“It’s tough to say. Right now, our vision for Paragon is pretty clear. Kyle, Roddy, and I have such a long, storied history — not just as teammates but even as rivals. There are no two people I trust more, both in wrestling and in life.”
While he emphasized his confidence in the trio, Cole acknowledged that wrestling factions often evolve over time, using the formation of the Undisputed ERA as an example:
“When the Undisputed ERA started, it was just me, Kyle, and Bobby Fish. We had this mindset of keeping it just us. Then Roderick came along, and that’s when it really felt like the group became whole. So, who knows? Right now, I love what we have, but we’ll see.”
Cole currently holds the AEW TNT Championship, which he won at AEW Dynasty, and leads Paragon in its new phase. The stable continues to be featured prominently on AEW programming, especially following its rebranding.
