4/12 AEW Collision Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s live coverage of AEW Collision for April 12, live from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA.

FTR make their way to the ring. Cash claims what happened on Saturday wasn’t easy for him and it wasn’t premeditated. Dax convinced him that Cope was holding back their careers to help his own. Dax said instead of asking them “why?”, fans should be thanking them because they gave him everything Cope wanted. He thinks what they did was right and then continues to ramble. He invited Tony Schiavone into the ring and Nigel tried to stop him.

Schiavone said they were wrong for what they did. When he contradicted Dax, he stopped him. Dax put Schiavone between his legs, but Nigel stopped them. Daniel Garcia tried to intervene and Dax knocked him down. They apologized, hugged him, and walked away.

“Timeless” Toni wishes luck to all the Owen Cup contestants. She had a message for each competitor and will be at “Double or Nothing” to see who her opponent at ALL IN is.

Billie Starkz vs. Jamie Hayter

Hayter misses with a kick and goes for a forearm and Starkz dropped to the mat. Starkz offered her hand and when Hayter shook it, she did an Irish Whip. Starkz took her down with a back kick. She did a Russian Leg Sweep and sent Hayter to the floor. She went for a dive and Hayter was waiting with a forearm. Hayter sent her into the barricade and then dumped her over where the time keeper’s table was. Starkz responded by making her faceplant on the time keeper’s table. She did a swanton from the barricade onto Hayter’s back.

Starkz sent her into the ring and went up top. Hayter joined her, but Starkz shoved her down. She yelled “check your teeth!” before kicking her in the face. Hayter with a spinebuster and a cover for two. Hayter sent her into the corner and roughed her up before suplexing her. They exchanged blows before Hayter grabbed her head and slammed down.

After the break, Hayter is working Starkz’s leg. Starkz sent Hayter into the corner. She kicked Hayter in the head and did a jawbreaker. Starkz with a German Suplex. She grabbed Hayter by the hair and attempted a pickup, but Hayter hit her with a knee in the head. Starkz with a suplex and a rear chinlock. Hayter with a snapmare and running knee.

Hayter with a neck breaker and a Hayterade, but Starkz kicked out. Hayter laid in forearms while Starkz was on her knees. Starkz with a backslide and twisting neck breaker for two and a half. She went up top for another swanton, but Hayter kicked out at two and a half.

Hayter crawled to the ropes and Starkz forearmed her on the apron. They both attempted piledrivers, but Starkz headbutted her. Hayter with a suplex off the apron, sending both men crashing to the floor. Both women make it to the ring at 9. They exchange blows and Hayter with a thrustkick. Hayter nails Hayterade for the win and advances to the next round.

Winner: Jamie Hayter

A promo aired of Claudio with Yuta and Marina. They accepted Samoa Joe’s challenge before speaking German. Mox said this will be a learning lesson for punk a– wrestlers that don’t want to come to work. He asked what they were teaching “sweet young HOOK”. It’s the biggest match of HOOK’s career. Mox said not to worry “because chicks dig scars.”

Gates of Agony vs. Smash & Burn

Gates of Agony came to the ring and their opponents were in the ring. Kaun did a backbreaker and a vertical suplex before sending him into the corner. Toa Liona tagged in and sent his opponent to the corner and laid in multiple forearms, followed by a lariat. He grabbed his other opponent and threw him in the ring. He pounced him and tagged in Kaun. They threw one dude on and another dude. Kaun sat on both of them, while clapping, rocking back and forth, and laughing.

Winner: Gates of Agony

Backstage, Lexy Nair tried to get a word with FTR. They were confronted by 2point0. They see through what they’re doing and they won’t let him put Garcia in the same position as Cope. Menard said he’s been waiting a year for them to do this and they will not do it to Garcia. Dax challenged them tonight and would invite Garcia to choose.

Anthony Bowens vs. Blake Christian

Blake Christian is already in the ring when Anthony Bowens comes to the ring with Billy Gunn. Lee Johnson is ringside. Bowens planted Christian, but Christian got to his feet and worked his arm. Bowens rolled him up. Christian used the ropes to dropkick him in the shoulders. Christian swept his leg and slapped him in the back of the neck. Bowens laid in chops and used the ropes to take him down.

After the break, Christian worked Bowens arm and kicked him in the ear. Bowens kicked him twice and did the FameAsser. He did his new move, Grand Slam, but Christian kicked out. Bowens put him on the apron and Christian raked his eyes before sending him outside. Christian ran on the apron and dove through the ropes.

Christian was standing on the apron and Bowens kicked him and laid him over the ropes for a spinning DDT. Johnson put Christian’s foot on the rope while Bowens was pinning him. Bowens was fussing at Johnson when Christian rolled him up. Christian nailed a Spanish Fly for two. He followed with a corkscrew kick and did a 450 Splash.

Christian kicked Bowens and Bowens responded with a back elbow. Bowens did a stunner in the ropes. Bowens superkicked Christian. Johnson got on the apron and Bowens punched him off the apron. Gunn came around and took Johnson out. Bowens did a Mollywop.

Winning: Anthony Bowens

After the match, Bowens grabbed a mic and said it’s time to level up. He’s AEW’s “5 Tool Player”. He doesn’t need a government trademark to prove he’s the best. The question is who will step up to the plate to get mollywhopped.

Megan Bayne (w/Penelope Ford) vs. LMK & Kelly Madan

Bayne makes her way to the ring for a special 2-on-1 match and her opponents are already waiting. Madan starts off the match. Bayne sent her into the corner and hit her with her shoulder repeatedly. Bayne did a one foot dropkick. LMK tagged in and was caught in a crossbody. Bayne splashed both women before sending LMK into Madan and splashed them both. She had LMK over her shoulder when Madan ran at her. Bayne hit her with a clothesline and slammed LMK down. Bayne put Madan in Fate’s Descent on top LMK for the win.

Winner: Megan Bayne

Kevin Knight vs. AR Fox

Knight comes to the ring first, followed by Fox. Fox went for a kick and missed and Knight chopped him. Knight started to throw him over the shoulder, but Fox rolled him up. Knight kicked out and rolled him up. They did stand and switches. Knight pulled him off the rope to roll him up. Knight kicked him in the gut and bounced off the ropes, but held on to fake out Fox. He did a baseball slide into Fox’s shoulder and followed with a UFO splash.

Knight punched Fox in the spine. They exchanged blows. Fox sent Knight to the apron and he punched him in the face. As he walked off, Knight grabbed him by the shoulder and slammed him to the mat. Fox immediately popped up and hit him with an enzuiguri. Fox flipped himself over the rope to stomp his chest. He followed with a standing moonsault from the apron.

After the break, Knight did a jawbreaker and upper cuts. He took him down with a dropkick. Knight did a flying punch in the corner and kicked Fox repeatedly. Knight with a popup powerbomb for two. Knight did a roll through, but Fox shoved him off. Knight with a back elbow and Fox responded with a Lo Mein Pain. Fox followed with a 450 and pinned him for two.

Fox pulled him to his feet and Knight rolled him up and hit him with another dropkick. Knight ran at Fox, but Fox was waiting with a big boot. Knight with a hurricanrana and followed up with a spike. Knight with a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

Winner: Kevin Knight

Backstage, Gates of Agony called out Hurt Syndicate for “Dynamite”. 

FTR vs. 2point0

FTR comes to the ring first, followed by 2point0. Garcia came down after everyone was in the ring. The bell rang and Dax sent Ang off the apron and exchanged blows with Menard. Cash came around and took out Ang. He sent Ang into the barricade and apron. Dax stomped Menard. Dax with forearms and busted open Menard. Garcia is telling Cash to stop. Cash sent Ang into the steps as Dax sent Menard into the corner. Dax was talking to Garcia before punching Menard repeatedly.

Menard punched Dax several times. He got him in the corner and continued to punch him. Cash pulled Menard off him, but Menard took him down. Cash rolled out of the ring. Dax sent Menard down again. They did a Shatter Machine on Ang and a Tony Khan Driver on Menard. Cash went for another one from the other side while Garcia pleaded for them to stop. They set up for a third one, when Garcia jumped on the apron and yelled at FTR. Cash pinned Menard for the win while Dax backed off with his hands up.

Winner: FTR

After the match, Garcia went to check on Menard. He backed FTR off and they left the ring. As Garcia helped Menard up, FTR attacked them both. They put a Tony Khan Driver on Garcia. Security came out to stop them, but Dax punched Mike Posey in the face. They set up for another Tony Khan Driver when The Paragon ran them off.

Athena vs. Harley Cameron

Athena makes her way to the ring followed by Cameron. Athena backed Cameron into the corner and patted her on the head. Cameron put her in a side headlock before tripping her and patting Athena on the head. Athena rolled her up. They exchanged pins several times.

Athena talked to Cameron before putting her in a side headlock. Cameron put her in one and Athena sent her into the turnbuckle. Cameron kicked her in the head and then held Athena over the middle rope with her thigh. Athena joined her on the apron. Cameron tried to pick her up, but Athena sent her into the turnbuckle before planting her on the apron. Athena suplexed Cameron from the apron.

After the break, Athena has Cameron in a bow and arrow. Harley got out of it and went for a pin. Cameron with a Russian leg sweep. Athena with a kick to the gut and a running thrust kick. Athena set Cameron in the Tree of Woe and kicked her in the back three times. Cameron kicked her and got down. She sent Athena to the mat and followed with a lariat and enzuiguri.

Cameron held her over the middle rope and pounded on her. Cameron did an axe kick before heading up top. Cameron with a crossbody, but Athena rolled through and had her up on her shoulders. Harley got down and did a hurricanrana. Athena responded with a thrust kick and jumped off the rope, but Cameron punched her in the throat. Cameron with a belly to back, but Athena kicked out.

Cameron went for her Finishing Move, but Athena cartwheeled out. She got Cameron up, but she got out of it. Cameron reversed and rolled her up for two. Harley with Sole Food. Athena with a powerbomb and a knee strike before nailing the O Face to advance.

Winner: Athena

Backstage, Mercedes is excited about returning to Boston. She said Athena is a speed bump on the track to her success. Athena is one of the greats, but she’s facing her. 

Owen Hart Cup Men’s Match: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Brody King

The bell rings and we are underway. MEAT type up right off the bat, as King takes Takeshita to the corner. Takeshita can’t overpower King, so he hits a forearm, but King responds with a lariat. Takeshita over the back, tries a suplex, but King fights him off and hits his own back suplex. Chops by King in the corner, strong Irish whip into the corner. King looking for the Senton splash, but Takeshita moves. Takeshita with a senton splash from the second rope. Takeshita gets pulled over the top rope by King. King picks up Takeshita, he tries to fight out, but King with a DVD on the apron. King rolls Takeshita in the ring but he rolls out the otherside. Takeshita sits in the chair. he lures King in and hits a king’s knee strike. Takeshita back in, TOPE OVER THE TOPE BY TAKESHITA. HOLY SHIT CHANTS. PIP Break.

We return to see a SUPERPLEX by King during the PIP. ARF! ARF! ARF! CANNONBALL by King! Cover for a two count. King trying to pick up Takeshita, but he blocks it. Chop fest ensues, Takeshita hits the deck. Forearm battle now, hellacious chops by King drops Takeshita to his knees. Takeshita with a huge open-handed shot, he falls into the pin for a two count. BLUE THUNDER BOMB BY TAKESHITA FOR A TWO COUNT! Takeshita with the lariat, but King won’t budge, much to Takeshita’s dismay. Another try, a third one. King responds with a chop and a lariat. The pin for a two count. Dante’s Inferno! Takeshita kicks out at 2.9! Ganzo Bomb attempt, Takeshita fights out, both men collide in the middle of the ring. TOMBESTONE PILEDRIVER BY TAKESHITA, AND TRANSISTIONS INTO A DEAD LEFT GERMAN! LARIATO! KING KICKS OUT AT 2.8

Overdrive Knee, but King eats it! A second knee drops King, cover, kick out at two! Another Overdrive Knee to the back of King’s Head! ANOTHER ONE! That’s it!

WINNER: Konosuke Takeshita

We’ll have Takeshita/Ospreay, Athena/Mone on Wednesday in the Semifinals, and Hangman and the Wildcard in the last match of the Quarterfinals.

4/12 AEW Collision Preview

Tonight’s live episode of AEW Collision is set to deliver another stacked lineup, with the Owen Hart Cup tournament continuing on both the men’s and women’s sides. The show airs from the Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky, and is sponsored by MAX’s “The Last of Us.”

In women’s Owen Cup action, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena will face Harley Cameron. The winner will move on to face TBS Champion Mercedes Moné in the next round. Moné is also set to appear live on tonight’s broadcast. Another Owen Cup women’s match will see Billie Starkz square off with Jamie Hayter in a rematch from a few weeks ago.

“Timeless” Toni Storm, the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion, is also scheduled to address the Owen Cup field. In addition, Megan Bayne will return to the ring for the first time since suffering a loss to Storm at AEW Dynasty.

The Owen Hart Cup men’s tournament will also continue as Konosuke Takeshita goes one-on-one with Brody King. Takeshita competed just last night in Hiroshi Tanahashi’s final U.S. match, making tonight a quick turnaround for the Don Callis Family standout.

Elsewhere on the card, Anthony Bowens will be in singles action against “Vanilla Baby” Blake Christian. Bowens recently answered Max Caster’s open challenge during “Zero Hour” and picked up a win.

FTR is also advertised to speak for the first time since turning heel on Adam Copeland at AEW Dynasty. Their betrayal has already sparked speculation about a future tag team showdown.
