WWE Tryout Set for March 30 to Feature Select European Talents – WWE’s upcoming tryout on March 30 will feature a smaller, more focused group of European wrestlers, signaling a shift in the company’s approach to talent scouting. According to Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan, WWE has invited several names of interest, including Rhio and Man Like DeReiss, both of whom have previously been on WWE’s radar.
Rhio has prior WWE tryout experience, while DeReiss recently participated in a TNA tryout. Other confirmed attendees include PROGRESS World Champion Luke Jacobs, who was recently seen working as WWE security in Barcelona, and Goldenboy Santos, who also made an appearance in Spain. Spanish wrestler Zozaya, who has previously worked as an extra, and former Love Island contestant Adam Maxted have also been invited.
Notably, some prominent names have been ruled out. Sources indicate that Michael Oku is unlikely to receive an invitation, while former wXw Unified World Champion Peter Tihanyi will miss the tryout due to a shoulder injury.
The decision to limit the number of participants suggests WWE is taking a more precise approach to European talent scouting, prioritizing individuals with prior experience or notable potential. This shift could be an effort to streamline the evaluation process and focus on wrestlers who are already on WWE’s radar.
