WWE Trying to Secure Sting for Lex Luger’s Hall of Fame Induction – Lex Luger is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, and many believe his longtime friend, rival, and former tag team partner, Sting, is the ideal choice to induct him. Luger has publicly expressed his desire for Sting to have that honor.
Despite retiring from in-ring competition last year, Sting remains connected to All Elite Wrestling through a Legends-style agreement. It is unclear whether AEW’s approval would be required for him to participate in the induction ceremony.
According to reports, WWE has been planning to approach Sting regarding the possibility, if they haven’t already. Furthermore, Sting’s initial plan for a brief WrestleMania week appearance in Las Vegas has reportedly been extended, potentially signaling further involvement.
With WrestleMania weekend approaching, it remains to be seen if WWE and AEW can come to terms on allowing Sting to be part of Luger’s induction.
